Haven't wasted a penny.
This is the sixth book I've bought from freeman publications and just like the other five I've bought it is worth every penny. All have been written in a way that doesn't imply that the reader is either a simpleton or a financial genius, they have been written for normal people and each book takes you through the subject step by well laid out step.Even if you only have a vague interest in any of the subjects that these books cover then you will not go far wrong by "investing" in any one of them. They have set me on a journey I never expected and for that alone I can't recommend them enough.Ian Thewliss.

It seems aimed more for the American market!
REITs are an interesting investment area but seem to be entirely an American investment vehicle. This book is an interesting read but the section for international investors seems to be tagged on rather than a genuine way for UK, European and International investors to really use REITs as part of their portfolio. That said, I like the approach of Freeman Publications and am not trying to criticise the writing style or general enthusiasm for private investors (big and small) to increase their portfolios for the future. All I would say is that if you have a 401k then read this book, but if you don't (and especially if you don't know what a 401k is) then probably look at one of their other investment books.

Good, solid advice
When you are approaching 50 you need good, solid advice which this book provides in spades. This is the second book I have read from Freeman and I like the layman's style of writing because we are not all investing whizz kids and every little bit of easy to follow advice is helpful. Keep up the good work.

Thorough and easily understood
Like all Freeman publications that I have read, this new addition continues to deliver information in a clearly explained and accessible fashion. The examples used go beyond the more commercially known REITs and offer good insights into alternatives to these. The way REITs work, are governed and regulated is clearly explored and overall the book makes an informed and well balanced discussion of REITs, an ideal reference for both novice and seasoned investors.

Excellent book on REIT
Fantastic book on why it is a good idea to invest in REITs. Also, give great tips that you can incorporate into your own research strategy. This book is easy to understand even for those new to the investing world. No nonsense publisher, just deals with the facts. Great read.

Excellent book, easy to read and full of great information and simplified explanations of complicated accountancy matters. This is the fifth book I've read from Freemans publications. All have been excellent reads.
