Locking rear cover to prevent losing it like on previous models

Compatible 100% with Somfy 5the old ones are called myFox, this was before Somfy bought myFox, a very goo startup.

#1 the battery lid does fall off but over a space of a year it’s happened less than 10 times.#2 you can alarm your house by accident by grabbing your keys - accidentally hitting the button by mistake. Again, happened less than 5 times in the last yearOverall, I would get these - adds simplicity to your life when you have the alarm.

Disappointing! Super bad quality. They login into the system very slowly and they stopped working one of them after 3 months, the other one after 6-7 months. Also both times they got broken I wasted money on batteries which didn't help.The issue is that I invested more than a thousand pounds in this system and everything kind of works, but not really. I will completely move to Google NEST.

These do a good job, and have a decent range, however under normal use the back cover will fall off and you'll lose the battery, if you buy it tape the back on.Somfy's customer support know of this issue and will send out replacement backs but it's probably better to not lose the back in the first place.

Had Myfox/Somfy Alarm now for over 5 years, I still rate it as an alarm though do feel Somfy are just not really adding much since they took over from myfox. Apart from the PIR which seems to go against the logic of getting this alarm.The one thing I wish they would update is this remote and replace it with a new design that has some play on the buttons as its just too easy to trigger the alarm. What I have done is taken the internals out and removed the plastic contact trigger on the panic alarm, so when it's pressed it no longer touches sensor and stops me triggering the alarm by accident, it also means it won't work at all but I can live with that button disabled.I haven't had the issue many have with the backs falling off.Its also a shame they don't offer a wall keypad as an alternative over this or phone as means to control the system
