Metal Earth Professor Puzzle Mars Rover

These things are a bit fiddly but with prescion and the use of the right tools. These are fantastic to pass some time away

Bought as a gift for a 12 year old, very much appreciated. The detail on the model is striking and makes for an interesting piece.

As far as I am aware this is the only model of a mars rover available. I was prepared for this model to be a challenge but did not realise how small some parts would be. My 60+ eyesight struggled with some of the smaller parts - I recommend a magnifier of some sort! Main tips would be:Work in order using the instructions and double check you have the right part each time.Take care removing parts from the sheet of metal - it is easy to break smaller items.Some 'tube' parts are formed by rolling up the flat, etched part - its useful to have items like small screwdrivers to use as formers to get a smooth tube shape.Don't worry if some of the smaller instruments and aerials defeat you - I have left two off and they are barely noticeable.I resorted to superglue for some parts than refused to fit tightly - again this is not noticeable .Overall a worthwhile result when finished giving a reasonable model for your efforts.

Bought these for my Dad for fathers day. He hasnt used them yet but is looking forward to it. The only thing i will say is that they are MUCH smaller than I thought they would be, but this isnt a problem for Dad, just keep in mind for people who may not have the best eyesight, or clumsy fingers

Great model. Really enjoyed making it. Can be fiddly, but what do you expect. Look at it.

Broke 2 pieces trying to remove from the sheet. A lot of tedious job. Much respect for the ones that manage to finish it!!

This was neat and challenging a bit tedious though. For $20 it’ll give ya some to do a couple hours a day for a few days

Tolles Modell - sehr gut zu bauen - anspruchsvoll - nix für Anfänger.Sehr sauber mit dem Laser geschnitten und alles passt. Die Bauanleitung ist bisweilen etwas tricky.Ansonsten ein wirklich gutes Modell.

Bon OK la photodécoupe à assembler au début c'est galère. Faites-vous la main sur un modèle, et laissez-vous embarquer. Passez la plaque à l'alcool à brûler pour les dégraisser et mieux les peindre après. Non, sérieux, ça le fait.
