What's not to like? Build quality good, Easy to read clear display. Comes in a stout plastic case with spare battery and small screwdriver for the battery cover. The battery cover screw is very small and not retained when loose so great care is required when changing the battery! The calliper arrived with a battery fitted that was dead so replaced with the supplied spare. It's been in daily use in a machine shop for a while now with no issues at all. One nice feature is that if left for a while it will turn off the display.Very good value for money. Would highly recommend!

Delivered quickly. Good packaging. Good product. good storage box preventing damage when not in use.B U TI bought the Vernier Calipers because of the Large Display Digital reading. I have limited vision and needed the larger display to be able to read it. The display is clear enough for me to read but I was disappointed when the unit would not initially work. With a little difficulty because of my sight, I removed and cleaned the battery, initially thinking that there may have been an insulator installed to be removed before first use. As the display still did not work I resorted to replacing the battery with the spare one, (thankfully), provided. Now it works.I feel that the battery in the unit should initially be insulated, or, that two new batteries should provided, one to be inserted by the purchaser before use. This would have prevented a great deal of frustration on my behalf.

Having trawled through countless digital vernier calipers on Amazon I finally decided to purchase these and am pleasantly surprised. The calipers seem to be well engineered with precision ground jaws that match up perfectly. Also, the stainless steel housing for the display module gives these calipers a quality look and feel. They appear to work well, so well that the need to reset them to zero during normal use is unnecessary. They come in a black plastic case with protective foam lining and are supplied with a mini screwdriver to access the battery compartment and a sealed spare battery. Overall I would expect them to cost much more given the presentation and quality of manufacture.

Do not buy, complete waste of money! The worst calipers I have ever used! (and I am an archaeologist so I use them all the time) The battery inside didn't work so I had to immediately replace it with the spare one. The measurements often reset themselves halfway through the measuring process which means I can never trust the reading and have to check it against the ruler on the body which is a pain and makes the electronic display useless. Currently, all the displayed readings equal only half of the measured length and no resetting is changing that!!! I would have returned this product straightaway if I hadn't been aboard for the last few months. I am so so disappointed :(

Well made but probably not for me as it appears to be very sensitive so difficult to use.

Surprisingly accurate and well made for a budget caliper. Jaws are ground accurately and meet up perfectly. It always returns exactly to 0.00mm when the jaws are closed up and I have not had to zero it at all.

A good size and does the job but even when not used much (a couple of times a month) the batteries don't last long - around 4 months. As you need a screwdriver to remove them they get left in all the time.

Very good product and set at a very good price
