Quality and value
After years of using Gillette mach 3 razors, my handle broke and I looked at other options. The cost of the mach 3 blades was also ridiculous. I tried a few alternatives including supermarket brands and liked some, but they then changed and were no good anymore, so I looked online. That's where I heard about dorko.Dorko it turns out are a Korean manufacturer that has been around a long time. They are more known for their traditional razor blades, but also have made cartridge razors for other brands. The also supply the well known dollar shave club. I was lucky enough to try the sample pack when dorko still sold direct (they no longer do) and decided the pace 3 and pace 4 were the better ones. I found the higher blade count pace 6 and 7 heads were too big for under the nose and for accurate cuts. Plus the blades are closer together and tended to clog. This also meant I got the better handle from the pace 6. The one that is with this set is OK, but the one I have already is more solid and weighty so I prefer to use that.Pace blades are in many ways similar to Gillette but also different. They are multiple blades that are very sharp, in a cartridge and the quality is top notch. Where they differ:- less aggressive, giving a more sensitive shave. I've never had a rash or irritation when using these.- you need more blades for the same closeness of shave. Many compare the pace 3 to the mach 3 because it has 3 blades, but I'd say it is more similar to the sensor excel and the pace 4 is similar to the mach 3. This is probably linked to them being less aggressive blades.- cheaper. So much cheaper- the blades last ages. I'd say I get 50% more use from these than the Gillette equivalent- cuts. I've never cut myself with these in years of use. I used to get occasional cuts from the mach 3, especially as they wore out.For performance I prefer the pace 4 over the mach 3, with the pace 3 coming in a close third, but the price of the pace 3 is phenomenal so they offer the best value overall. Unfortunately these seem to be getting harder to get hold of. Maybe dorko never really had enough success with the pace range. I'll be buying them as long as I can get hold of them though, or I decide to switch to a DE razor.

i don't buy expensive razors
I've never tried Gillette razors because i normally prefer cheap own brand stuff in all aspects of life. Used to use wilkinson sword 3 blade disposables and since then morrisons own brand 3 blade razors. I bought this because of all the good reviews and they're not wrong imo. Definitely the best one i've used. It cuts very well but you definitely need some sort of shaving foam because it doesn't glide well without it.

Excellent Value Razor.
Good razor, excellent value. The handle feels reasonably well-made and sits well in my grip. The locking system for the blade heads is very solid– there's no way the head is coming off by accident. Overall, I find it gives a good, close shave, and the blades last a similar time to Wilkinson Sword Quattros.I do have a couple of minor issues: I find the spring action takes too much force to bend the head backwards; and the angle between the shaving head and handle is a bit shallow. This can be mitigated somewhat by holding the handle closer to the face, and maintaining the angle manually, but it can feel odd, and can be difficult around the chin area.Overall, I'm happy with the razor system, and the replacement heads are much better value than the usual suspects.

Actually very good
Whilst I made the transition from an electric shaver back to wet shaving I was casting around for a few different systems to try. Wilkinson Sword wasn't doing it for me and Gillette are a bit meh considering their prices.I tried Feather as a Japanese import which was ok but a touch costly. So I decided to give Dorco a shot and so far it's the best I've tried. I've started with the 3 blade one which gave me the smoothest shave out of the ones I've mentioned. It was almost a pleasure to use to be fair. The cartridges won't break the bank either. I would seriously give Dorco a go as a better alternative to high street favorites if you are thinking about it. I'm glad I did.

Too mild!
Nice looking razor, seemingly great value but how well do they work?Due to the thickness of the rubber strip beneath the blades it's impossible to get a close shave with this razor, of course that also means it's impossible to cut yourself so you have to decide if that's a worthwhile sacrifice for safety.Perfect if you are trying to achieve the 5 o'clock shadow look but useless for close shaves.

Good value razor blades
Good value and a lot better than so called better blades which are considerably more expensive. They seem to last a lot longer as well.
