I was really surprised by the quality of this item. I thought it would be cheap & cheerful at this price. I was wrong! This is made from quality wood, built to last, and it even had roofing felt on!It was simple to put together, everything fit perfectly and there were even spare screws for every fitting. It looks too good to put in the garden, I hadn't realised it was meant for outdoors (hence the roofing felt)'so I have it indoors, where it looks fine.Left outside it would still last for years and years.I am really pleased with this, an absolute bargain. Thinking of getting another one. Cats love it. The balcony is a real hit.Worth every penny.

I love it but it my cats are not so keen. With new things I can tell if they will love them because they will be straight in there but with this they just did not show any interest. They are using it now (took a few weeks) but still do not use the indoors part, only the roof and the verandah. Although I love this product, I have only given 4 stars because I really feel that the cat flap opening is too small and would be better if the entrance hole was larger or if I could take the flap off (but I cannot see how to do that). However, the quality is excellent, the packaging perfect, and the instructions very easy to follow. My cats do shelter from the rain by sitting up on the verandah but as they will not use the 'den' it has not quite worked out as well as I had hoped and I am now thinking of looking for something else for them. I will persevere a little longer and hopefully they will take to it more with time. Shame, as it is a great product for most cats - just maybe not mine.

Ok it looks completely ridiculous and over the top, but the cats love it!! Put it into their cat pen so they had more to do and see in there and they cannot get enough.The large cat cannot get into the bottom, but that is OK as he sits on the veranda or the roof while the little one just goes everywhere. I would recommend getting some treatment oil to keep it like new, but super simple to put together and robust enough for cats climbing all over it.I bought this one as it is made of quality materials and I like the Perspex front on the flap so they can see what is in there before fighting over the enclosure.

Its nice to look at. I knew it would be small as I measured it up and that's fine. The cats aren't really into it yet they have sat on it and stepped on the top with the ladder but wont go inside. I think the cat flap area is a bit small.There isn't much thought from the manufacture when making this. It doesn't line up no matter how much you take it apart and try. It doesn't fit level either really.I did varnish it myself as was worried about mould. And I do cover it with tarpe sheet at night.Watch out for the roof too lots of bits come off and go all over your floor.I like it and will decorate it but I think it's more for a cat garden decoration than anything. It may work better for others, I'll see in summer.It is expensive if you can afford I'd get 1 custom built which fits together properly. I'd give it a 5/10 maybe... it's the lack of thought when being produced that has annoyed me so that it won't fit together properly. Also 1 of the steps was slightly broken off.

I had been thinking of building some form of cart shelter for my two cats for a while and was getting ready to get the materials when my wife showed me this product. After calculating that by the time I got all the items I need, the cost wouldn't be that much different to buying this item and thus we bought it.It's brilliant, it sits nicely and stands at about waist height which is high enough I think and the cats are beginning to take to it although trying to get them in the bottom half is proving to be a bit of a task but that's down to the cards not the product.
