I've owned the Panasonic ER 221 for well over 10 years...probably 15 and one thing I can say about their products is that they are built to last!As many reviewers have noted, the battery life of these tools is INCREDIBLE!!! For a while there I wondered if they'd given me an experimental battery by mistake because it just wan't making sense how it could perform so well.Aside from the "vibranium" battery, they cut very well. I've never looked back and although I have another clipper this one is definitely my fav. I'm not going to repeat the many accolades others have so eloquently voiced. I just ask that they keep making clippers they way they do, they will never go wrong.

This is the best Professional Hair Clipper I have ever seen and ever used . I have purchase this more then one year all ready and used it every 2 weeks since. Honestly, at the beginning I was sceptic about it but now I have no regrets . Still working like new and very, very smooth . Very happy :) . Thx

An upgrade to previous Panasonic model I have used for a number of years - quality feel/weight, precise trimming. Panasonic produce the best trimmers and this one fulfills all requirements

I am not happy with this product, not only with the product though, the customer service is rubbish as well.. The blade gets full way too fast, if you don't clean it starts getting hot and being too loud. I am a professional barber and can't afford cleaning it every 30-40 minutes. When I contacted the Customer service they told me that can't help and that I need to clean it after each use... Rubbish... They advertise it as a professional product, but you can't really use it that way... very, very unhappy...

I really recommend this amazing product since it’s lighter and the cutting performance is superb. It should be professional level.

Excellent value and very well made but, the blade head does not glide well over the head smoothly there seems to be too much friction with the plastic part of the blade construction and my skin. I have short hair no1 and my previous babyliss trimmer travelled smoothly. This trimmer is if high quality. It cuts very fast. It's smooth and pretty quite. Battery last a long time on one charge. I feel this will last for many years as I only use it once a week for a few minutes. Battery will probably require replacing after a few years. Taper controls a very good and easy to use. Hard to fault the machine itself but the blade needs redesign.
