Didn't work for me and it somehow always ended up removed or falling off during the night.
According to my wife and daughter I snore! Not a problem usually, until you go on holiday and it's only one bedroom! Now call me mad, but I'd rather not spend my holiday being woken up throughout the night being elbowed in the side or back. So I took to Amazon and Google to search for possible remedies. I saw this strap and as it was relatively cheap, I decided to try it along with other things. So off we went on holiday and I looked forward to having a bit of uninterrupted sleep. Unfortunately, for me, this didn't work and somehow I always ended up either removing it or it falling off in my sleep. So now, the bags under my eyes have got a lovely tan! Obviously YMMV and it may work for you. Just don't be too disappointed if they don't. I'm now on the lookout for the next miracle snoring cure!If you found this review helpful, can you please help me by clicking on the helpful button. Thanks

I am staying at my parent house this week, I bought this and used the speedy prime next day delivery service so my dad could wear this so my mum could get some sleep as he snores really loud. My mother was really excited when it arrived, happy believing she would get a most superb kip during her main snooze.. The old boy went to bed and put on his jaw strap, which lets be honest can't be that nice to wear and off he went to sleep. I woke up at 3am to a noise that sounded like a motorbike coming from the opposite end of the house, the loudest snoring I have ever heard. I almost wet myself laughing at the thought of my poor mother left devastated that this snoring solution she was so excited to receive didn't actually work. It was worth the £22 for the sheer joyous laughter :D :D :D :D

Does work, but there are things to consider
OK, I'm a shift worker and been putting on a few pounds recently. My Mrs (and 4 year old!) have been informing me that my snoring has now reached a point where it wakes them up regularly. As a result I bought this on the off chance it would work and off the back of the previous positive reviews.Positives:1) For me it does reduce the volume of the snoring I've been informed. I also feel slightly more rested when I wake up if it has stayed on the whole night.2) It is now comfortable, but I've been using it about 4 weeks now and it did need breaking in (see below).Negatives:1) When I first wore it, the first morning I awoke I had quite bad jaw pain, like it'd been forced into a different position. When you wear it it sort of pushes your lower jaw back towards your neck, and up. By the 3rd time of use this pain had stopped so I think its just the bedding in process.2) Because it's elastic, it may be getting looser - and that will obviously mean it becomes less effective with time. I'll keep an eye on this and update through prolonged use.Other point of note: When sleeping it looks like I do occasionally take this off, as sometimes I've woken and it has been around my neck. As it sort of hooks over your ears I don't think it could slip off, I must just be removing it when sleeping. It's just a temporary solution for me, but overall it does seem to work.

Well made product, that fitted comfortably. The sniggering laughs from my long suffering better half, were probably worth the price alone, as it cracked her up, and I always like to please my woman in bed.The real test of course was how the product performed when it came to the head on the pillow test. Sadly this product didn't work for me, as I snored just as bad as before. This isn't the products fault of course. On the plus side though, I did not have a dry mouth in the morning (I sleep with my jaw open), so it did help me with the morning scratchy throat that I normally have.

The cure to my sleep apnoea.........or maybe not........
I suffer from sleep apnoea and have been using a cpap machine to keep my airways open every night when I sleep for about 12 years. I saw this advertised through a link in my wife's facebook page and was convinced this would be the answer and at last I would be rid of the mask and machine, which I have to admit I totally hated, but have too use to be sure of getting a proper nights sleep. So first night with the chinstrap seemed to go well, checking with my wife in the morning if she had noticed me snoring she told me she heard nothing, I had slept almost the whole night, only waking up once, the dry mouth and tongue stuck to the roof had gone and I felt fine.Felt good all day which I took as a sign that I had slept well enough. Night 2 went the same way and no snoring reported. On the morning after the third night my wife was awake before me and the snoring was back loud as ever and the chin strap was not doing what we had hoped.I can not tell you how disappointing this was, I had pinned my hopes on this being the answer but clearly it was not to be. I still use the strap as it does reduce the time my mouth is open during the night and reduce the dry mouth and sticking tongue issue, but I have had to go back to using my cpap nightly. Sorry but it does not do what it says it will and all in all very very disappointed with it

Absolute waste of time and money
Absolute waste of time and money. It claims to work by holding your lower jaw forward. It hadn't occurred to me until after i received it (and tried reading the very badly written instructions on the box) that if it is pulling on your chin and up over the back of your head there is no way on earth your lower jaw can go anywhere but backwards - completely the opposite direction!!Anyway, I'd opened it and had it there in my hand so I thought I may as well give it a go.It's uncomfortable - this is something the box did get right (i think that's what it was talking about.) The material on the inside of the chin strap is very rough, so it is constantly itchy. The rest of the material is soft and stretchy, which means that unless you have very short hair (or bald) moving your head against the pillow will cause your hair to shift underneath the strap and let it slide out of position. I even tried it with a mouthguard in - this was incredibly uncomfortable and had to take it off after about an hour of no sleep. It really is a total waste - don't bother
