Ronseal RSLEWPWHI750 750ml Super Flexible Wood Primer and Undercoat - White

Very easy to use and covers well.

This is a very good primer and undercoat BUT make sure you stir it extremely well from the bottom of the tin otherwise it will be runny. It's worth a good stir and goes on well.

Went on easy enough to a new bare wood door with no runs, dries quickly. Disappointed the knots showed through after a few days as I'd used their own gloss so didn't expect the knots so come through so quickly.

This paint was not too thin or thick,but nice and creamy and easy to apply. there were no nasty fumes and the effect was very even. It dried quickly and cleaning the brush after was super convenient as the paint washed out with soapy water. Overall I would highly recommend.

I always use Ronseal when possible Fence paint, Decking oil and now exterior wood paint as they seem to live up to what Ronseal say they do. Most water base undercoats ive found to be very weak and runny, not so this one. Needed two coats, but if it lives up to its claim then worth the effort. Like the fact you can wash your bushes in warm soapy water, makes life a bit easier. It recommends you top coat with Ronseal 10 year wood paint which im going to do, be great if it does last 10 years, but only time will tell. Paint came on time, in fact a day b 4 it was due, fair price, so all good

It felt good quality from the first stroke. Not runny if careful. The quality of the lasting of 10 years only provable in 10 years. Have never used this product before, but very impressed on first use. Dries quickly. Very expensive for 750 ml only, but may be the reason why so pleasant to use and feels as efficient as the tin says.

I purchased this Ronseal product because I believed they were reliable. When I started painting it was so watery I gave it a second good stir, but it was no different. No use at all should be written on the tin!!I have now looked at other reviews mentioning the same problem going back two years, so it is not a dodgy tin, but something Ronseal don't seem bothered about.
