Queen Bee Manuka Honey 115+ Methylglyoxal 340g (Pack of 2)

Product arrived on time and in good condition. Tastes great on its own, as a sweetener or on toast.

I always use Manuka when the kids are sick. Great product, have given up standard pain killers for temperatures, colds + flu..sipping water every half hr or so with an occasional spoon of honey + plenty of rest does the trick (+ salt + vinegar crisps ...sweet + soar). Yrs ago, I was nervous giving honey to my son at first, as my child was premature + generally very unwell. Doctors always recommended antibiotics every few wks and as I became more + more concerned about the dangers posed from the quantity of antibiotics he was prescribed. I started to research. Tried Manuka once when I was at my wits-end, + my friend recommended it (as her son was the same age as mine) + my son was unwell but not too unwell (just a cold). It surprised me he just slept for a few hrs and was really content. The constant coughing had eased. Bit by bit, over a couple of yrs, I didn't give him the recommended dosages prescribed by the GP + within 6 yrs or so, he didn't require antibiotics etc at all. He's now 18 + has only had antibiotics for his operations (he's had 4 of those unfortunately). (I took that approach (reducing the quantity + easing off very gradually) with inhalers, steroids + antibiotics + by the age of 6/7, he was practically finished with it all). Manuka is now the go-to treatment in our house, it's expensive but a must. Tip: The higher the number on the jar, the greater the anti-bacterial effect. I use 100 or 115, I'vav seen manuka showing 5 but that's like pouring money down the drain in my opinion.

Bought this about four times now, it's cured myself & my family of sore throats and chest infections, also cured my dog of kennel cough twice & antibiotics failed. Having been buying this for years, delicious honey. Now suddenly (Mar/Apr 2020) there's a 33% price hike. Just when honey with anti bacterial and anti viral properties is even more important than usual.
