I’m not sure if the negative reviewers have ever actually read traditional Lenormand or Kipper cards because The Siren’s Song set of both is amazingly well-done. The card stock is actually better than my traditional original Kipper & Lenormand decks. I have a few dozen decks in just Kipper & Lenormand alone, not even counting my numerous tarot & oracle decks. I can say without a doubt, these cards are of equal or better quality than the traditional cards. Please do not let those negative reviewers deter you because these decks are so BEAUTIFUL! The card quality is fine! It’s the same— actually, honestly better quality as all Lenormand & Kipper decks of traditional size like this one is. While still keeping the beauty in the art. I also love the inclusion of the extra cards.If you already read Lenormand & Kipper, you’ll be able to read these easily right out of the box. I love the idea of a dual set in one box. The packaging is nice. It comes with a larger than usual guidebook which I like, although their meaning of the “Tree” card in the Lenormand deck confuses me. I’d suggest looking up a resource for each card meanings, assign them their words & go from there. For instance sometimes the Coffin can be a good thing. If the Mountain card comes after it, it can mean a quick end to major hurdles/obstacles. Its influence is negative however it again depends on the surrounding cards. If you haven’t read Lenormand or Kipper yet, I suggest you familiarize yourself with each system (Rana George has an excellent Lenormand book & Alexandre Musruck has a good Kipper book to get started) first before going off just the guidebook included.The Tree card: It’s not a negative card, its influence is actually neutral. It doesn’t suck the nutrients out of whatever card is around it. Traditionally “Tree” means “growth”, “firm, grounded, solid”. It can mean to pay attention to health but don’t be so scared if it’s “near The Sirens” (but The Sirens are in the Kipper, not the Lenormand so that’s confusing, unless I mix the decks, the Tree from Lenormand won’t show up next to the Sirens who are in the Kipper deck) Tree might not even mean physical health at all! It can mean growth, which is a good thing! It’ll depend on your question & surrounding cards. If you get Tree+TheSiren+Bouquet as a reading & you’ve chosen The Siren as your signifier, that means good health is on the way. Tree = health, growth, longevity; The Siren = signifier, news, arrival; Bouquet = joy, happiness, good outcome. This is the same for all cards. Every card has a light & shadow aspect but your question will change things & so will the surrounding cards.However, setting that aside, it’s not worth a star removal because they could be putting their own spin on it but the decks themselves are gorgeous & decent quality. I ALMOST missed out on having this gorgeous set because of certain negative reviews. I decided to go for it & I’m SO GLAD I did because they’re exactly what I’d expect from Lenormand & Kipper cards.I have tiny hands (wedding ring size 4.5) & I can easily shuffle them in every way there is to shuffle & they’re fine, not bent. If you take good care of all of your cards, it’s hard to wreck them. The people who wrecked these cards must be throwing them or something because they’re very easy to keep in good condition.All around great sets of cards! Love the art, love the idea of the same theme for both decks, love the packaging & full size color guidebook (even if I’m a lil confused by a couple cards but everyone has their own method, French, Bavarian, hybrid, something else altogether, there’s so many methods so it’s fine!) I’m just so happy the negative reviews were absolutely 100% wrong! These are great cards & I am a woman with an entire library room full of decks! Do NOT miss out if these have been calling out to you like they did for me!

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice affordable option for those wanting to learn Kipper & Lenormand.The cards are well done and the book has good explanations. The book is goodquality as well. I highly recommend it.

These are great decks. The artwork is very oceanic and whimsical. I love that these cards are a bit smaller than average. It makes them so much easier to shuffle. It also comes with a nice book with all the card meanings and a few different layouts to try.

I am enjoying learning Kipper and Lenormand. I think they are a bit easier than tarot. I need to get used to pulling cards to make a 36 count deck! These are around playing card size maybe even smaller and are on a lightweight cardstock. I don't think they are as sturdy as most playing cards. Mine do bend easily. The corners bent from holding them wrong while I read the book so I would recommend a light hand when using these cards. Illustration on the cards is beautiful. The description book is nicely sized. This is a nice set. I do wish these cards were coated more like a nicer playing card deck. The box is sturdy and will keep the cards nice.

The Sirens' Song is a great addition to my deck collection. I love combining both decks in order to utilize the strengths of each system. If you are new to either Kipper or Lenormand, never fear -- the book does a great job of explaining things.I disagree with the reviewer who disliked the cardstock. I actually prefer this cardstock: while not the linen finish of playing cards, I am able to shuffle easily. The cards do not stick together, I am able to riffle/casino shuffle, and they are perfectly sized for my hands (and for laying larger spreads like a grand tableau). The matte finish is my preferred finish, as there is no glare when photographing the cards. I wouldn't change a thing about them.Overall I am highly pleased with this deck and would recommend it to fans of Kipper or Lenormand. Well done all around!

The artwork/design of these cards is beautiful. Sadly, the card stock quality could be better - not very sturdy and smaller in size than expected. So, they are nice to look at but not so great to work with.

I know the Lenormand system, and wanted to have a good book to learn Kipper. This guide fits my need. I like the art on the cards, and I have no complaints with card quality.

The media could not be loaded. Came as pictured, not damaged. I treat my cards with respect so not easily damaged. Easy to shuffle for feminine hands but if hands are bigger or thicker maybe not so easy. Have not tried a reading yet but love the 2 decks concept and being able to customize. Excited to start slinging.
