BABEYOND Women's Kimono Robe Long Robes with Peacock and Blossoms Printed Kimono Nightgown

After I’ve done some things like cleaning, straightening up, fixing meals, exercising and showering, I want to relax and look nice and pretty. I figured Kimonos would help with that. I came up with the idea of wearing Kimonos to lounge in when my family had a reunion on zoom a couple of years ago. And since I was mostly seen from the waist up, the Kimono I bought worked out perfectly.Since that idea worked, and after giving it some thought, I’d decided to revamp my indoor wardrobe. I needed to get beyond bathrobes and exercise clothing during the day. So I started looking around for more Kimonos. I came across this one. I really wanted to buy the one with the red background but I decided that green would be better because of the Summertime. I still intend to buy the red one.The thing that disappointed me and caused one less star is the inside tie. It’s too high. I’m used to inside ties being at the waist. The inside tie on my Kimono ties across my breasts. Why is the tie so high? I won’t return an item for a reason like that, but I think it would have hung better if it had tied at the waist, as inside ties usually do.Since this garment has an inside tie and a tie to keep it closed I will not be wearing this to bed. Movement will pull on it. I know because I’ve worn bathrobes to bed. They tie the same way. I bought this Kimono as a sample to see if I would want to buy more. Since I’m working on revamping my indoor wardrobe, I needed to make sure that I didn’t buy a half a dozen of these at one time, only to discover that I didn’t like them. And I dislike wasting money and returning things. Kimonos work perfectly for the late Spring, Summer, and early Autumn. Now I have to figure out what I can wear to lounge in during the Winter Months.Note: My tie came in a small individual packet, which was placed inside the package with the Kimono. So be careful not to throw the packaging away before making sure that you have the outer tie.

LOVE IT! SO SOFT! My friend liked so much she bought one. I will say in regards to the comments about missing belt- I THOUGHT mine was missing HOWEVER it is in a small package itself in the same bag. So happy work purchase. I'm almost 5-5 and hits above ankle maybe an inch or so.

Hey- this is exactly what I was looking for. The only thing is that it’s large for me (I’m a size 2) but it’s perfect for lounging around the house and I can see where it could work for even a curvier body type. For the price, hell yeah. The color is every bit as vibrant as the photo which I love

Just like the picture. I’m 5’8 and it’s long length is perfect for me.
