Don’t get me wrong… I love strong black coffee and espresso. I drink my morning coffee like Cowboy Coffee. The first cup has got to wake me up… not 3 cups later. This Dunkin’ brand is not bad or bland, and is strong, but I found it to be a bit acidic for my palate (I also used filtered water).The funny thing is, is that used to work as a baker at Dunkin' Donuts when I was a teenager (remember the commercial ... "Time to Make the Donuts?") and customers used to rave about how great the coffee was, but I never got hooked on it. I tried it but prefer other brands, so I guess I wanted to revisit the brand and taste some nostalgia.Love the packaging and this is 100% Premium Arabica coffee, but I will have to experiment more with it or maybe blend it with my old standby.

Dunkin' Espresso Style Bag, 10 Ounce, 6 packThe six-bag pack of coffee comes packaged simply in a recyclable brown cardboard box marked Duncan on the outside with part numbers and such. Inside the box is where you find the magic elixir, coffee! The six individual 10 oz bags seem to be the standard retail style that we're all used to seeing on the grocery shelf. The bags seem to be a mylar type foil plastic hybrid, so they seal well. The top of the bag has a fold-down press-over holder to help keep a fresh after it's opened, but I go the extra step and put it inside a canister as well. The coffee itself is quite finely ground and is dark and rich with a satisfying smell. The first batch I made, I went by their brewing instructions recommendations, one and a half tablespoons of ground coffee per 6 oz of water, and made half a pot of coffee. I found their recommendations to be a little strong, so my next pot I cut it back by a third and I found it to be quite tasty. I've even made this in my Keurig using my reusable pod. The coffee brews quite a full tasting and smooth, without the bite that extra dark coffees occasionally have. So - smooth, full tasting, no bite, no oily aftertaste - just what you expect from Dunkin coffee. Buy with confidence, this is some doggone good coffee.

8/29/21~ Dunkin & Espresso? At home? Yes Please.Usually Lavazza is my At Home Espresso. True Italian Crafting.So I'm not going to tell you this is Lavazza, or Italian, comparable.However, if like me, you love Dunkin & Espresso, It's Exactly What You Imagined.We have an Espresso setting on our Ninja.So I did Espresso 4oz and, regular Single 8oz cup.The Espresso setting was Pure Heaven. Smooth, Rich, Happy.The Single Cup was bitter Black.Fortunately it was Sunday & a splash of Baileys smoothed it out.It is a Four Star Espresso. Ten Stars if you Love Dunkin Coffee.Dunkin's Espresso Passed The Black Coffee Test with Honors.Bonus for Caffeine that snapped me out of my French Roast plateau.Feel awake & alert without the jitters I can get from Lavazza.This coffee makes me so Happy, this night owl, can't wait to get up in the morning.

I have purchased a medium roast Dunkin Donuts coffee before and loved it, so I wasn't surprised that I loved this espresso blend, too. The instructions are a little strange, as it says to put 1.5 tablespoons for every 6 oz of water. I did 1 tablespoon into every 8 oz of water because my coffeepot is marked by the number of cups - not ounces. I love strong coffee, so I added 8 slightly rounded tablespoons to 8 cups of water, and the flavor and strength was great! I recommend this coffee, as you really get a lot of flavor for your money. I am sure I will go through the six bags pretty quickly because it's so delicious!

Espresso-style extra dark ground coffee this Dunkin variety has a good aroma in the bag and during brewing and it is so dark it is almost black in color. . The coffee is 100 percent Arabica and it is packed in a 10 ounce pouch. The flavor is bold, intense and while not noticeably acidic does have a slightly bitter finish which adds some depth to the brew. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in August 2021 the Best By date is 9 months in the future but dates will vary.
