I'm not sure what other people have been receiving but I decided to take off the sticker that was very poorly placed on the battery and sure enough it's a real panasonic battery. Other people have said that their shaver doesn't maintain the same rpm that it used to and I wonder if they received a different battery that is not a panasonic with a mask. It was a direct replacement for my ARC5 and I think it works the same. Another thing people mentioned was the battery not lasting the same amount of time, and honestly if they didn't time it, they wouldn't know. My brother has also been using this battery for a year in his arc5 and there are no problems. I would get this one over other brands since you can receive a real panasonic battery.

I have been using the Panasonic Arc razors for years. As with any electronic device, the battery degradation is what forces me to get a replacement. I thought this time around maybe I can squeeze little more life out of the razor by replacing the battery. However, from the first usage I could notice that the razor was not operating as strong as it does with the OEM battery. The charge also drops 10% after each usage, which is lot greater than the OEM battery. Furthermore, just like the degraded OEM battery, this replacement battery goes from 50% charge to zero without any warning. I don’t know if Panasonic built in some kind of a limiter that needs to be reset from the factory. In my humble opinion despite the enticing price, this battery, or any of the similar batteries for that matter, will not solve your issue.

Update 8/17/23: I received a replacement the next day, was able to install the battery, put a small charge on it, and test it. Immediately I could tell a huge difference. It was running at full speed as it did with the original battery. The next day I actually needed to shave, and it worked great the whole time. Now it's just a matter of seeing how long it lasts on a full charge. I've added two stars to my rating. Although, they are mainly for Amazon for keeping these in stock and shipping out so quickly. I received no communication from the seller or manufacturer about the issue, which is ok because of the super fast replacement and it appears I just got a bad battery. I'm also not going to blame them or anyone else for one bad battery.I was excited because this is the first time I've found a direct replacement battery with the correct contacts for my Panasonic ES8109. Yes, it's listed in the compatible models. I'm not an electrician, but I think it lacks the amps to run my razor at 100%. When running, the best way to describe it is just plain weak. Barely able to run when just holding it. It wouldn't cut any facial hair at all. The screen was also dim.Yes, I completed a FULL charge and the screen said 100%. Even at 100% it just wouldn't cut anything. Luckily, I saved an old battery and can get by for now. I am exchanging this battery because maybe I got a bad one. When I get the new one and test it I will update this review.

Perfect replacement for my Panasonic shaver. The original battery would barely get through one shave before I had to charge it again. After replacing with this one it's like a new shaver. Replacing the battery was easy. There are several videos online showing the procedure.

I’ve replaced the battery on this Panasonic onc already. This would be the second and it works great! It holds a charge, and puts out enough current for the razor to hum along nicely. Hopefully this replacement lasts longer than the previous replacement.

UH, DUH? This battery has no physical indications of which side is PLUS and which is MINUS. Which is critical when installing into a shaver that can burn up or blow up if inserted reversed. I finally see someone wrapped a new label over an original blue battery, so If you peel off the outer label it will reveal the + and -. What were they thinking?

FYI. The battery arrives without any charge so you'll have to install it and watch for the charging percentage to see that it's good.

this battery doesnt fit the arc5. its about a millimeter too long. complete waste of time. delivery was also delayed by a day as usual.
