Something you need to choose to purchase.
It's stick umbrella. Original size is quit small, I'd recommend XL for bigger size person(not available through official site)...and there is also XXL, which I haven't seen one in real life though. Go Google some image for reference.First, of course, it works for most usage.Other than it's sci-fi-like appearance, it also have a name of the storm umbrella--I have actually walked the same model(original size) through a storm before, it survived pretty fine, but it only keeps you head dry...so don't expect an umbrella to do much in a storm.(for those who is curious why Im buying the same model--the tip fell off, it still works fine, but not...as perfect.)It's cool, it can survive pretty strong wind...in the cost of convenience and some more bucks. There is also fold-able version, less cool, less strong, but they nailed convenience, at least. It's not meant to be just an umbrella. If the efficiency is your sole preference, you shouldnt be read this in the first place.

Best umbrella I've purchased.
Pros; Light weight, functional design, unique lookCons; high price (relative to price of most umbrellas)Like others have commented, it's smaller than golf umbrellas, but the design works. There is an XL size for those that are taller than 6' or just want more coverage. I'm 5'7" and it works for me. Not sure yet about long term durability since I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it feels solid. The included sleeve has a strap which is helpful. Price is steep for those used to normal umbrella prices but to me the it's worth the design. Now, I just hope I don't accident leave it at a restaurant

I spent a good amount of money on this item
I just received my umbrella today and it would not stay open. It seems the locking mechanism is not working. I’m very unhappy with the product. I spent a good amount of money on this item. I would like for someone to reach out to me and help me resolve this situation.

State-of-the-Art design
The best umbrella ever! Unmatched by any other premium umbrella on the market. Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York and Saks Fifth Avenue's most sophisticated brands can't compare to this product.

Great umbrella (if you are protecting yourself!)
The Senz Umbrella is great for protecting yourself from the rain and does greatly help protect your back from water when the wind is blowing.Being in Vancouver, BC for an extended period of time I was looking for a umbrella that would protect me from the horrible wet waist/pants issue that would come up if the wind was blowing from behind. This umbrella is much easier to deal with in the wind in general (whether walking against, with, or perpendicular) then a normal umbrella.Using for the last few months It has worked extremely well and does everything it advertises. I would recommend the larger XL size if you plan on wanting to protect someone else with you as the Large is pretty good for a single adult male.

There are better choices out there
There was a couple of things that were bad about this umbrella. First, people on the street look at you when you use it. Like almost everybody notices the unusual shape of this umbrella. I like the design and I think it's cool but I don't really want all the attention. In addition, the locking mechanism on the umbrella is very unreliable. At first, I really need to jam it for it to lock, and it failed completely after I used it for like 3 times. I am just happy that I can get my money back.

Still perfect over 8 years later
I purchased one of these back in August 2010. I live in the Pacific Northwest. While I don't use it often, it has served me well many times and still looks and functions like brand new. The fabric has held up well. It is very compact and great for personal use but can be a little small so I may also purchase a larger one at some point.

This umbrella in the wind makes Senz.
Compact and built well, this is the answer to rainstorms in the Oregon wind. This isn't an umbrella to be shared by two people, so you'll probably want to buy an extra to have on hand. While I wish it would open and close a little more graciously, it packs well and performs when needed.
