I wanted to begin taking magnesium citrate but as with any supplement, I have concerns over quality and the use of animal products to make the capsule. When I stumbled across this product, it looked like what I wanted because it had the vegetarian capsule, which was stated on the label. I was also impressed that the company claims and lists on the label that this product contains some "elemental magnesium" which was extremely important to me.The capsules were surprisingly tiny, extremely easy to swallow, and had no odor. My body was thankful for this supplement as it met the needs that I purchased it for and did so practically overnight. High quality product and at a great price too. I've found a winner here!

I had a pretty severe magnesium deficiency (among many other nutritional deficiencies) as a result of years of serious alcoholism. I tried magnesium oxide, which did nothing, and magnesium glycinate with mixed results. So it was suggested to me that magnesium citrate might work better in cases like mine. It definitely does. No doubt there is a synergy with many other supplements I take, but adding this to my regimen has resulted in significant improvements in my anxiety, muscle tightness (for the last two months I have slowly regained the ability to walk without a cane and improvements now are very rapid), quality of sleep, mood, and digestion. I take 3 per day about 5 hours apart so that translates into about $9 per month, which is less than a prescription for some lousy generic medication that does less and has adverse side effects. This brand is a permanent addition to my supplement stack.

These capsules arrived timely, just as indicated when ordered. Despite their size, they go down easily. I have been taking a magnesium supplement for years, however, during the last few months I developed an embarrassing and frequent belching problem. Totally not lady-like. Not only that, my stomach began loudly rumbling and gurgling incessantly. Consequently, my blood pressure went up because of the built-up gas. After some research, I learned that synthetic magnesium, among other things, can cause this horror (I was taking magnesium oxide). So I began the process of eliminating likely culprits. I chose the Elite Life Nutrition magnesium citrate not only because it is not a synthetic magnesium but because I read through all the reviews it had. I am glad I did. Taking these as well as making some dietary changes has me back to my usual self. While it could be said that any brand of magnesium citrate would have done the same, I am happy I chose the Elite Life. With my health as it is, I take a lot of pills. These, as mentioned before, are easy to swallow. Plus, the other ingredients listed are rice flour and vegetable capsule. I am content that I am getting exactly what I ordered and need.

Has more efficacy then any prescription drug I’ve attempted to utilize to no avail this amazing product stabilized my blood pressure, fixed my super ventricular contractions or PVC,s a benign but bothersome heart arithmia it’s basically completely gone so this potentially can cure atrial fibrillation as well it should theoretically work on all heart rhythm issues my heart rate went from high 110s to high 70’s. Helped me sleep better and gave me tons of energy. I highly recommend this hollistic approach to solving common anxiety symptoms what main stream medicine and big pharma won’t admit to the public is most of these chronic issues stem from insufficient magnesium stores in the body. Also note that efficacy is a case by case basis everyone has different polymorphisms or slight gene mutations which may cause different absorption and efficacy rates you’d have to get your genome sequenced to be sure they have all sorts of genetic tests these days! I have used several brands of magnesium over the years, mostly in granular form as an adaptive to my morning smoothies. They all seemed to work relatively well but this Elite Life brand is definitely a cut above anything I've used in the past. I've only been taking these capsules about a week and already I've experienced a SIGNIFICANT improvement in my sleep patterns, regularly, and cramping in my legs and toes. This is a very good product that works well and is easy to swallow. If your deficient in this essential mineral (70% of the people in this country are) give this product a try. Your body will definitely thank you for it.

Awesome Product! <read below for my experience>I took the recommended dose the day I received it (took the dose about an hour before bed.) I originally liked the idea of Magnesium Citrate for a better quality of sleep and to help with anxiety. I have to say that I am very impressed, when I woke up the day after I felt charged and refreshed. Honestly, I cannot remember the last time I felt so rested. If you have constipation this product could actually work great for you but for others you may experience loose stools and diarrhea taking this . I have moved to a magnesium glycinate and already feel better. People are all different so not disparaging the product but it just was not for me and I would tell others to just be informed about the type of magnesium they use.
