Best chair wheels I have tried. Smooth, quiet, keeps in place but easy to roll.
I have tried many sets of casters or wheels for my chair. (more on this later) These are the best so far. They roll very smoothly and are very quiet. They look good too but how often do you look at the rollers on a chair anyway. The perfect combination of quiet and smooth without changing the chair height. The most important thing for me that it doesn't want to move around when you intend to stay still. If you are interested in my comparison with other rollers, here it is:I switched from carpet to LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank or fake hardwood) recently and that is what made me look for new rollers. I had replaced the rollers with the roller blade style single wheel rollers years ago. Those were ok on carpet. On LVP however the chair wanted to roll away before I could sit on it. Even putting my feet on a foot rest would push the chair back when I didn't want it to. Those roller blade rollers were quiet and smooth but they lifted the chair up a bit. I believe the additional height led to bad habits like putting my feet on the base of the chair. (and eventually foot pain)I tried my original plastic rollers that came with the chair and those sounded like they were going to scratch the floor. (they weren't going to, it just sounded that way) I missed the smooth rolling quiet feel of the roller blade rollers but I wanted something that would stay in place a bit better.I put these rollers on and decided immediately that they were an upgrade and the best of the bunch. The chair rolls nicely but it doesn't feel like the chair wants to move on its own. I can glide across the floor if I am too lazy to get up to get to the trash can.The price is reasonable and the upgrade is significant. I can't say how these would work on carpet. They are softer and grip more than plastic. They might be difficult to move on carpet unless you have a hard surface mat. I highly recommend them for hard surface flooring though.

Great replacement chair casters.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It appeared to be a better quality. Put them on my office chair and they work great. Smoothe operation. Recommend very highly!!!

Good, silent, smooth wheels
Work very well. Roll smoothly where old plastic castors were rough and scratched flooring. The only issue is that they rolled so well I was scooting across the room until I adjusted.

Easy rolling and quiet
I recently got a new office chair that came equipped with the standard 2" double plastic wheel rollers. The chair did not roll or pivot easily on my rug so I investigated the various rubberized bearing wheels for replacement. These are similar to roller blade wheels but are the double wheel 2" style replacements and not the single wheel 3" roller blade type. I chose the 2" replacements because I did not want to raise the height of the chair.I selected this style for several reasons: (1) the wheel bearings and polyurethane treads should make rolling quiet and easy, (2) the solid urethane wheel should be more durable than a plastic wheel with an outer urethane tread; reviews of such styles sometimes noted that the tread would separate from the plastic wheel, and (3) the roller blade style wheel has a narrower contact point than styles with a flat tread; many reviews of the flat tread design noted that the wheels did not pivot easily and I believe this is because the flat tread wheels have a lot of contact area against the floor whereas the narrower roller blade wheel type should have less contact area with the floor which should result in lower friction to allow the narrower wheel to pivot more freely.I have found that these wheels easily pivot and roll on the rug installed in my office. I am very satisfied with the performance. Note: I selected the color based on it being the cheapest option but the color does not stand out when installed on the chair. The color is that of the supporting structure within the transparent polyurethane wheel. The transparent polyurethane is most obvious and the interior color does not appear very noticeable from the outside. Just about any color will likely work for most decors.

Works
Wish I had gotten the single wheel casters. Takes a slight amount of effort to move the chair and was going for zero gravity. The wheels are smooth. Makes no marks. Easy to replace on the chair. Zero noise.

Honest truth? Work so well that I just ordered a second pair
They're everything the vendor promises. Good wheels. The fact that they are DOUBLE wheels per caster means that they operate just like the plastic OEM wheels you likely now have. The single rubber wheel replacement wheels (i.e. which are most of those on the market), will track, spin, and turn the chair differently (read some of the reviews on those). These duel wheels track true. However, there is one drawback. I have a glass chairmat (i.e. carpet protector, highly recommend over the plastic!!), and these wheels are so smooth that they tend to roll all the way off the platform when standing up, sitting down, etc.. Best advice, make sure you use the largest, oversized chairmat that will reasonably fit in your room, and under your desk. You'll need the extra room due to the amount of travel that your chair will experience with these super smooth wheels. (Yes, I have two of those, too, for two office desks. The smaller one ... 🙄😖).
