So far, I am liking this system. I am a month in on my first crop and have 6 inch tall plants. Pump runs as advertised. Easy to assemble. A couple of the fittings could have been tighter or have a gasket.or something. But as long as u keep an eye on it, ( which u should b anyways), it shouldn't create an issue. Haven't had any plugging issues as of yet. Roots stay to the bottom of tubes quite nicely.

First time I used this was for leaf lettuce. It was too hot (florida) so it bolted. (it would have in soil too) But it grew well.This time it's not quite so hot,, hopefully cool enough it doesn't bolt. It's looking questionable (starting to bolt?) so far but there's always next time.

The product is good. However, before you put it together...make sure you plan ahead and know WHERE you are going to hang the system and HOW you are going to hang it. Since I am in an RV and will be traveling down the road, I decided to check out a YouTube video to learn how to secure the pipes to each other. There were no directions for this in the package NOR did any YouTube videos I watched mention this.So, I decided to prime AND glue each joint to prevent leakage. I bought Oatey Handy Pack 8-fl oz Purple and Clear PVC Cement and Primer which says it is safe for drinking (potable) water which is great because I will be growing lettuce, spinach, and kale hydroponically.ALSO, I figured out a way to hang the system in front of the bathroom window by attaching them to the top of the valance with 0.67" wide Perforated Hanger Straps.

Perfect for Urban Gardening! The height can be adjusted by purchasing a longer or shorter piece of PCV pipe that drains the water from the planter to the water storage. I've transplanted seedlings and established plants as well as starting new plants from seeds.I prefer using rockwool purchased on Amazon vs using the sponges provided.
