Great size
I only really use these for groceries, but they've stood against the elements for a while. More intense sun than anything. The main pouches have two zippers, while the smaller side ones only have one, but all are easy to grab and never give unnecessary trouble. They can fit an overflowing hand basket worth of groceries, maybe more if you're clever. I never have a problem with hitting my heels on them, and the straps allow them to adhere to a variety of different racks. I definitely say they are of good value.

Great bag!
I want to make this clear, I am rating the product itself not Amazon warehouse deals, which is why I am giving it 5-stars instead of 3 but I'll start with Amazon warehouse, just in case if you plan on buying it from them instead of new, like how I did. If you're not, just scroll down further to the review of the product.Amazon warehouse deal-- I was able to buy this product at a discounted rate. I don't mind using products that have been previously used. However, Amazon warehouses need to do a better job at checking out their products that are being resold. There are some stains on the bag, not a big deal, it's kind of expected and their relatively small. In one of the side pannier bags there were a lot of white powder substance. I didn't really notice until I started putting clothes in there for my cycling work to commute and when I got to work to take them out and put them on, they were covered in white powdery stuff. Since I didn't have any violent rages for cocaine, it probably wasn't anything bad. I just wish it was better cleaned out before being resold. The other issue is that I am an Amazon Prime member and get 2-day deliveries on most items but this took a week to get here due to some 'difficulties.' And I mean, it happens. I'm not unreasonable. However, it is another thing to add to the list of issues I had ordering a product from one of Amazon's warehouses. The last issue I had was that there was a screw in one of the side pannier bags also. I mean, it's just a screw. Not a terribly huge deal until you realize that it could have been a nail or something else that could be potentially dangerous. Like I said, I don't mind ordering used products but I won't be doing it from Amazon warehouse for quite a while. Now the actual review for the product-- It's great! It's super strong, durable, incredibly spacious. If you need to do some grocery shopping or just need to carry a lot of stuff, this bag will do it! I also plan on using it to be a bike messenger for Postmates when the temperatures are at least above 50F (since I don't think food orders would stay warm for that long in temperatures lower). I am very happy with the bag itself. I haven't even used the top bag yet!The side bags have a strong back surface to keep it from flopping around and hitting the wheels. Both side bags have velcro straps to keep them in place also and won't swing back and forth. On the top of the side panniers, once you unhook the buckles on the top and release the velcro straps, you just grab the handle on the top and carry it like a normal bag. Your feet also don't hit the bags. If they do, the only thing I can think of is to try and readjust the length of your rear cycling rack, so the bag wouldn't be as close to your feet when pedaling.I really enjoy this bag. Buy it new. If you buy it used, don't get it from Amazon warehouse, get it from another seller.

UPDATE 2nd Set No Good!
UPDATE: I'm on my second set of these panniers, and in comparison to the set I bought a year ago (review below) the canvas is lower quality, as are the snaps and the sewing. Took less than 50 miles (which for me is like a day of riding) for the first strap on the top bag to shred to pieces, I ended up losing two of the straps where they connect to the main panniers and had to redo them (with the other two beginning to go). Compare that to my original set where it took a year before anything wore out. Manufacture needs to go back to original stock for all their parts, I can only recommend buying these now when they are on deep discount (i.e. $35 or less). Otherwise, buy something else!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought these panniers a year ago this month for a rad expand electric bike. I ride between 128 and 300 miles each week commuting to work, gravel biking, grocery runs, on road century rides, Forest service roads, and trails. All while carrying 32lbs of stuff in the panniers.. Basically these things got beat every single day while carrying heavy, sharp cargo. Bags were wrecked several times, and reworked with canvas to deal with holes my bike lock chain (which is a logging chain, not a normal one, i like my bike to not be stolen) put through them. This week, after a year of use, I bought a 2nd set of these to replace the current ones I like these budget panniers so much. For $40 you really can't get better. I will say the black color, rather than the green, seems to hold up better based on a friend who has the black, but I like green. Canvas is susceptible to sun damage and high temp on the green, riding with a rain cover over it would probably prolong life as well as not leaving it in your car in the summer all the time.. Second issue is canvas fails at seams with age, probably because straps aren't adjustable and thus the load is constantly shifting and straining the fabric as you ride. See photos of repairs. Bottom of panniers takes the most damage. I lost a $20 breaker bar through one hole that opened up during a ride (which is why I am buying a new pair)! NOTE: these are water resistant and even with the application of kiwi spray on water proofing (3coats) they are NOT waterproofable. Buy some stuff sack for that or a backpack rain cover (90L size at a minimum) In a light rain they stay mostly dry, in a downpour forgetabout it.
