Despite reading very mixed reviews, this was the only smart water bottle that I could find to accurately track my daily water intake. It was easy to connect and works perfectly day after day with none of the issues other reviewers have mentioned. I’ve been using it daily now for a year, and it’s never lost connection, apart from when the puck needs charging, which BTW is only about once every six weeks. The bottle and the app have a number of fun customizations, and the Apple widget it’s perfect for setting my intake without even needing to open the app. I’m more planning to buy several more to give to friends and family for Christmas.

This is great if you have trouble getting your water in. Great size, very durable, little pricey but worth it, many colors to choose from and use it everyday. Functional and fits in car.

The app frequently fails to record my consumption and I have to intervene to make it work properly. The charging cable is proprietary and they charge $8.99 for 1 on their website. I got a 3 pack here on Amazon for the same price. The worst part is that I left them a 2 star review on their website. It showed for 2 minutes and then disappeared. And yes, I had it set to show most recent reviews so DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS ON THEIR WEBSITE. This is why I came here to give them a 1 star review and warn people.

Updating my review now that the bottle is working correctly!The first few days of using this bottle were rough. It kept failing to update water intake in the app, and would flash randomly even when my goals were met. Some time around the day 4 mark it just started working even though I wasn't using it any differently. I hesitated buying this product because it seemed like a lot of money, but I'm glad that I did as I'm now drinking about twice as much water and it feels worth it for the health benefits. It's very well insulated, and the puck holds charge for at least a couple of weeks.

It’s exactly what I wanted and hoped for.

I love this bottle, and it works! As being the caregiver for my husband, a disabled veteran, it was always a battle to keep him hydrated. This bottle helps tremendously, and he drinks immediately, when the light comes on.

I had been using this water bottle for a bit and while it does have nice features, I can’t fully recommend it. I do not drink as much water as I should so having something easily able to measure my water intake and remind me (alongside the app, more on that later) to drink water was nice. It should be noted that I had the original version of this bottle from this company before the bottles were even insulated. Now for my complaints: 1) the base is so bulky and also measures water intake using the weight of the bottle compared to previous versions that had a sensor actually inside the bottle. This means that if you place your bottle on an uneven surface, it might not track correctly. 2) The strap on the lid is BAD. I am not even sure but the little strap on the lid is so frayed and I’m not even sure how it happened. 3) Despite the bulky base, it uses its own proprietary charger which means you better keep track of the cable it comes with or order more. 4). Honestly my biggest complaint: the app subscription. No, you do not technically need the subscription, but you’re at a disadvantage if you don’t get it. You can’t really customize the bottom light if you don’t have it, and you can’t track other drinks like energy drinks, electrolytes, or juices. It’s $15 a year, but as an accompaniment to an $80 water bottle, its just greedy. All in all, it’s not a bad product. It insulates well and tracks the water intake pretty easily. It’s a bit bulkier than other water bottles but for 32oz it’s not too big.

This water bottle is amazing. Tracks every single drop of water you consume with the Hidrate app. Charges via USB and lasts 2 weeks on 1 charge, i love it! Thank you hidrate for making a great product THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!
