Don't be deceived by alignment. It will work out, no longer bolts needed.
After reading several comments that the holes didn't line up and having to get longer bolts, I hoped that I would have better luck. To my dismay, I tried to line the holes up, they didn't align (as seen in the picture). I started to assemble despite the alignment issue. I followed the bolt pattern spelled out in the directions. I thought maybe I would drill new holes, but decided against it and continued. I used a screwdriver in neighboring holds to help with alignment and quickly started to see the holes starting to align as I assembled. The trick is to catch a few threads on each bolt. Once all bolts are in, start to tighten the bolts in the same pattern and it will tighten perfectly.... no issues... no longer bolts needed. It does help to lay the slide on its side when assembling too. The slide is sturdy and works great. My kids love it... and so do I! I got the 5ft Super Summit Slide. I hope this helps! I highly recommend!

Nice Slide
As alot of reviews state its not the easiest to put together. That being said, I found it much easier to live up the two holes labeled in the instructions as 1 and 2, then take a screwdriver and put it in another hole and pull until the next holes line up. Now some reviews say the bolts were to short, if you try and use the washers they are, so for that I say put a few bolts and nuts on without washers, use the screwdriver to get them lined up, fully tighten the bolts you get started, then you can put both washers on the remaining bolts take the first couple without washers loose and add washers as instructed. All in all with a few minor set backs I listed above I had this slide together in about 20-30 mins. Seems to be nice and sturdy as well.

HARD to assemble, metal plates do not fit, mounting holes in plastic sections not aligned well
7 days after purchase, it had still not shipped (by Amazon) and had to talk with a Amazon rep who was able to escalate the shipping for the next day, slide arrived 2 days later as promised by the rep. Assembly is straight forward, matching "flat" slide section to a "grooved" slide section secured with 2 metal identical metal plates at each slide "joint" - the problem is all 4 metal plate (2 per slide joint) are exactly the same, but the curvature of the 2 joining sections of the slide are not exactly the same, thus it is very [very] difficult to put together. Best option was to get the supplied bolt through the 2 opposite lower/outer holes first, which was a challenge having to literally twist and slightly bend the metal plates to line up with the molded holes in each slide section. The install a 3rd bolt in the very center hole...this took using a "C" clamp to force the 2 metal plates together enough so the bolt was through the holes enough to start the nut. Be aware, the holes on each slide section to NOT line up properly and I had to fight with the angle of the bolt to get through both holes. Plus dealing with the slope/angle of the slide made all this even harder. This design obviously looked ok on a CAD or whatever software was used for the design, but the reality is the actual fabrication is not accurate concerning the size/shape of the metal plates and thus how they line up with the misplaced holes in the 2 sections of the slide being joined together. Yes, we were able to make it work through about an hour of frustrating assembly that required 2 adults and numerous extra tools to force things to line up. Note: the screws to mount the slide to a wooden deck, or similar installation, are NOT included and basic wood screws will easily pull through the plastic lip at the top of the slide or time - consider having mountings screws with large flat heads, or adding fender-type washers under regular wood screws. Indentions for 4 place for the mounting screws are on the underside of the slide - but we used 3 additional since the upper mounting edge did not lay flat at all with noticeable 3/4" gaps that small belts or pockets would get caught on before sliding. Add the 3 extra screws pulled these gaps down to less than 1/4". All-in-all, the slide assembly design makes sense, particularly for shipping in a reasonable sized box....but the poor design of metal plates and holes in the plastic slide at the joint not lining up is a real pain, and could have be so easily avoided...I actually wonder if anyone, anywhere in the production process even tried to assembly just 1 slide unit before just mass producing them and selling them way above their worth for what your get.

A little difficulty for install
Sturdy slide overall. My children love it. However, the holes on the slide did not line up well for us to put it together and did not come with hardware to install slide to playset.

STURDY SLIDE
We built a fort and wanted to add a little fun slide and this worked out just perfect! My kids are 6-10 in age and while some reviews said that the middle area where the slide connects could weaken over time, we put a reinforcement bar across the back to eliminate this from happening. The angle that we have this could have the potential to disconnect or separate over time, so I can see how those reviewers shared that. So far, after adding the reinforcement from the start, we haven't had any issues. Yes, my kids like to climb UP the slide like all the other kids, so that too could contribute to the slide weakening in the middle. If that is something you are concerned about, I would say that the slide itself is very safe and durable quality. I would also recommend adding a support behind the slide to avoid warping over time.

DO NOT BUY - Very Poor Quality and requires you to supply everything to mount it.
I know how to put things together. Even difficult things. But this slide is absolutely horrible. The metal brackets don't line up with any of the holes and the curve isn't even cut properly to allow the brackets to sit in place. This company should be ashamed of themselves over the poor quality of their product and the sellers should be ashamed to carry this product at all. Unfortunately I am past my return window so I have lost my money. There are many other slides on the market that are better. The one I currently have was more complex to put together, but went together easily. This one is not worth the time and effort you will have to put into it.

Tall and sturdy! To help with assembly I purchased and used longer bolts.
This solid is a wonderful product! It lives up to my expectations! I “THANKFULLY” used the recommendation from another review to purchase longer bolts. I was able to insert the longer bolts leaving them slightly loose until all bolts were installed. Then I tightened them all, creating a much easier assembly. If you use the bolts that came with the product, it is extremely hard to align the holes and secure them because they are too short.Once the slide was assembled and installed it is perfect! I tested the slide before putting the kiddos on it and I weigh “slightly” over 200 lbs. I am very confident that it is sturdy and safe.
