Better than band-aids
I've tried several brands and formats of this type of product, and in my experience, the spray bottle is by far the most effective and hygienic. Compared to brush-on versions, which can feel less sanitary over time, the spray offers a cleaner and more convenient application. The only minor drawback is that the nozzle can occasionally get blocked. Fortunately, this is easy to fix—either by using a pin to clear the opening or by turning the bottle upside down after use to release any trapped liquid before it sets solid. Overall, it's a reliable choice and my preferred option.Just one word of caution: it does sting quite a bit on application—so maybe skip it for toddlers and little kids unless you enjoy explaining why something that’s supposed to help is making them dance around like they’ve stepped on hot coals!

Good substitute for a bandaid!
I absolutely love this stuff! I wash my hands very often at work and during the winter they get really dry and my fingertips always end up cracking open. It’s very hard to get a bandaid to stay on in that location and if I do get one to stay on, it comes off pretty quickly due to washing my hands so frequently. This is the perfect solution to my problem. All I do is spray a little bit of this stuff on where my skin cracked open and I’m good for the entire day! It doesn’t wash off as easily as a bandaid tends to and I typically only need to reapply it once a day. It does burn a little upon application but nothing too horrible. My kids however hate it for that reason and will not allow me to use it on them, so I don’t think I would recommend this for kids. A little goes a long way with this product and I always somehow end up spraying too much and needing to rinse it off my other fingers. It does wash off very easily if you wash it off right away before it gets a chance to dry. Even though I always tend to overspray, the bottle still lasts forever! If you often are in need of a bandaid in a location that’s hard to get them to stay on, then I highly recommend that you try this product! It would also be good in a situation where you might not want to put a bandaid on but need something to stop your cut/scrape from bleeding constantly.

Quick Wound Protection, but still stings for 2 minutes after application
When NEW SKIN first came on the market, I started cross-country roller skating. It was the perfect solution for me, but it always stung for 1-2 minutes after application. Then one day I got a huge road rash on my vastas lateralis (outside thigh muscle). When I sprayed it on, I experienced an amazing cosmic level of pain for 2 minutes. When I regained consciousness, I decided NEW SKIN was great for small hurties, but not so great on cosmic level road rash. After that, I started experimenting with other brands using no-sting formulas. Even super-glue works with minimal pain. J&J was one of the first with a no-sting formula, but was waay overpriced. Rexall has a spray-on "liquid bandage" that works great without stinging,

Apply like you're painting a wall
I see some complaints about not being able to target an area. The spray is fairly powerful and the tiny nozzle is too concentrated up close and too wide at a distance so I use a medical paper tape (which costs four cents per yard) like masking tape and leave just the area needing the liquid bandage exposed. That works perfectly.I run the nozzle under hot water for a moment to get the residual liquid bandage cleared so that the nozzle does not get clogged. I've also use compressed air to do the same thing. That addresses the more common complaints. As far as the product performance it is the best liquid bandage product I've ever used. I go at it with two coats and a day. Stays waterproof and stings for a moment but considering this is not for deep cuts the pain is very minor and very brief. I have been using one can for more than 20 applications and I still have plenty of product left. It is a winner.

I thought it would work better,
As one who has terrible issues with deep cracks on the skin of my fingers in cold weather, New-skin liquid bandage sounded like a great idea. The first few sprays were pretty good but then the sprayer clogged and it was all over. Probably would work okay for tiny cuts that were not exposed to dish water.
