Bowers & Wilkins Formation Audio - Wireless Audio Streamer, Multi-Room Hi-Res Audio Streaming, Analog-Digital Conversion, Built-in Bluetooth 4.1, AirPlay 2 & Spotify Connect

I was very excited to finally get the formation audio to listen to my records on my formation speakers. Upon setting up I realized the audio was unable to connect to any setup using the formation bar. Seems a bit off putting on bowers and Wilkins part to make the software restrict its usage to only its formation duo, wedge, or flex speakers. Please make sure you don’t use the formation bar in hopes of listening to your music, according to bowers and Wilkins the bar is strictly for theater setups… please just update the software. Many customers end up having the return the formation audio because of this reason.

If you have any of the Formation products you MUST also buy the Formation Audio, for several reasons. Everything just works SO much better for one. Also, if pull the trigger, be SURE to upgrade the power cable as the one it comes with is inadequate. I chose the AudioQuest Cinnamon which does the job nicely. Cleared up all of the issues I had with the unit, and the Formation Duos it was streaming to. Took me almost two years to figure that out. Buy it! It’s a no brainer!
