These are great! I got them for my work sneakers (restaurant). Great fit, no more untied laces! Highly recommend =)

Not nearly as rigid/tight as I was hoping. They’re kind of like oversized rubber bands with quite a bit of stretch to them. I don’t need my shoes to be excessively tight, but it felt like I was wearing slippers when I laced up with these as suggested. I ended up redoing them as pictured here, criss-crossing the middle laces and using two bands for the top lace (which was a feat of willpower and finger dexterity in itself) and they are just adequately tight enough for my preferences now. We’ll see how they hold up and will try and update the review accordingly. (I used only the 5 shortest laces from the kit; I have no idea what to do with the rest, lol)

Well, they lasted for 5 months of every day wear, and then within a couple of days, several ties broke.

I have ordered these in the past and love them. Going on a trip so ordered more for my new sneakers. Good variety of sizes. My husband uses the longer ones and I use the shorter ones.

The idea for these are awesome! I tried using them in my Allbirds Dasher's, no bueno. I was able to find the right fit/length I wanted to use because they provide you with more than enough alternate sized elastic bands. I like my shoes snug & was able to achieve this very easily. They were not easy to install, but it was not hard either by any means. I purchased one pair first to try out so I could see if I wanted to outfit all of my Dasher's with them(I have 6 pairs all different colors), because I love snug fitting slip ons & I am not a fan of continually having to tie shoe laces that come untied (on my feet walking all day with my job). The trial pair I tried on shoes that I casually wear out & mainly around the house (my mistake I should have tried them on a pair that I wear a lot or a work pair). Anyways, I wore them around for about 2 weeks casually. I loved them, super comfortable & made my shoes that much easier to take on & off. I did notice however that every once in a while when I put excess pressure on the shoe taking them on/off a lace would pop loose occasionally? It didn't happen a lot so I didn't really think much about it? So I ordered 6 more pairs to color match the rest of my shoes. Here is where everything goes south. Shortly after I installed these new laces on all of my shoes, my wife & I took our first trip ever to Las Vegas. Anyone who has been to Vegas knows you are going to walk A LOT! I had always heard that, but never seriously paid attention to that fact( I should have). I only took 1 pair of sneakers & 1 pair of boots(for nicer events). Within the first 2 hours of being in Vegas I started noticing (multiple) laces popping out randomly. I would have to stop, take my shoe off & reinstall them. By day 2 I couldn't keep any of the laces in & I was getting so frustrated with them that I just started throwing them I the garbage as they popped loose instead of stopping every 5 minutes to reinstall them. By the end of the 4 days we were in Vegas I was walking around with zero shoe laces in my shoes. Lucky for me, Dashers shoe laces are not 100% needed for the shoe to function properly or stay on your feet. Another interesting tid bit of info you would never think about, try & find regular shoe laces in Vegas? Your not going to, near the strip anyway (drug stores, gift shops, etc...). So, I ended up walking around looking like an idiot or was forced to wear leather soled boots(not comfortable at all) for the rest of the trip.......... The silicone the laces are made from works great for a comfortable snug fit, however the ends are way to flimsy to stay in the eyeholes if even a moderate amount of pressure is applied or they are exercised in an area that is hot (it was 120 degrees 'ish while we were there). I came home pulled every pair I had out of my shoes that I had installed them in & threw them in the garbage. I replaced them with uLace style elastic laces, MUCH better execution of the idea! I have worn the uLaces for about 6 months now across all of my shoes (casual, workout, work, etc...) & had zero problems. I would recommend uLace instead of these if you are looking for this style of laces. Just my 2 cents.

These are absolutely wonderful for the shoes. I did have a tad bit of difficulty inserting the very first one into the first two holes due to the closeness of the shoe tongue.....so I used a needle nose pliers to help me get into that tight space. These are lovely and my spouse has been using them for a few months now and they are holding up nicely. I absolutely would re-purchase and would recommend. Having said that, he has not worn them out in the elements, because he only wanted them in his house tennis shoes.
