Firstly, the supplier despatched my order more than 2 weeks after ordering, despite claiming it was in stock.The device measures angles and levels accurately, certainly accurate enough for me. There are however a couple of issues.1) The peep hole on top is obscured by something rendering it useless. Whatever it is doesn't seem to be removable.2) The lens cover was not included - as described in the leaflet. Quite important in a dusty environment.The view through the scope lacks clarity but good enough. Focusing works fine over the full range. Setup on a standard tripod was quick and easy.

the set up is a bit faster than i'm used to with a transit. the franklin principal?the upper stadia is a little hard to see when just looking strait through, not bad, but i have to adjust my posture a bit to see it. the reading in distance comes out correctly.other than that, the optics are clear. about as good as it gets. you have a focus for the eye piece, and then the adjust for the distance to read the rod.the thing has a moveable bezel, which is great.

This product did exactly what it’s intended to do. The Auto leveling feature is a must to have. I would recommend this product for sure. Only one question. When storing or transporting the instrument. How do you lock the auto leveling mechanism? No instructions on how to operated the locking system.
