Grim Black: The Perfect Shade for My Marvel United Miniatures
I've been using The Army Painter's Speedpaint, specifically the Grim Black shade, for my Marvel United miniatures, and it's been a game changer. This color brings out the details and adds depth to the figures, making them stand out on the battlefield. The consistency of the paint is just right, allowing for smooth application without losing any of the intricate details of the miniatures. It dries quickly too, which means I can enjoy painting without long waiting times. For any miniature painting enthusiasts, especially Marvel United players, this Grim Black shade is a must-try. It's made my painting sessions more enjoyable and my miniatures more visually striking.

Amazing for high detail surfaces
Obviously, not cheap paint. Still, I find that this contrast style paint provides one of the absolute best levels of detail to small minis with lots of detail. My current favorite use case is for steel or iron - one coat of this over white primer with a final drybrush of silver gives a really believable “metal” feel to just about anything, and is lightning fast to boot.If you’re looking for useful paints, I highly recommend Grim Black Speedpaint.

Better
I like it much better than the Citadel contrast paint. I found it much easier to get an actual contrast

Good but not perfect
Covers well but it’s thin and doesn’t cover evenly. A second coat will need to by applied.

This is a contrast paint
This is a contrast paint (what GW or Citadel) that has different properties than the Matt black paint.Good paint, but practice with it firstThere are videos on YouTube on how to use these type paints

Very thin
Either this paint is a factory defect or it was cut and sold as new. I have used this paint before and I have never seen a paint from AP so thin out of the bottle.

Produced green tint, not black
Applied paint to a model primed in matte white as per the instructions. Instead of getting a smooth black color with highlights of gray/dark gray as the bottle leads me to believe, I got patches of black with dark-green highlights. Required multiple coats to get rid of the green.

Came completely covered in black paint throughout the packaging
As title says. Bottle clearly leaked or exploded or something in the packaging.
