Fits well and is well made.
The media could not be loaded. So I bought the lavender and the navy blue with the green print for our five month old kitten. She gets spayed in two days and I wanted some thing to put on her afterwards because I think cones just are terrifying to animals. The last time we spayed animals I took some socks and kind of made a onesie out of them and they worked, but this is easier to put on and I really like them. Some of the things I didn’t mention in the video attached is that she has plenty of room to utilize the litter box without Soiling these onesies. The Velcro is wicked strong. It’s a little stiff but I’m sure with several washes. It’ll loosen up a little bit the little black piece where you adjust. The neck opening is very sturdy and the drawstring also is very sturdy. I will say that the lavender Fabric is thinner than the navy blue fabric. The lavender is more like a jersey type material and the navy blue one is more like your traditional men’s T-shirt material. Some people had said that their cats were scratching at it or washing it cause it to pill, however, that has not been my experience. We measured her back as instructed and it was 12 inches so we opted for the medium. They fit great. She’s a petite cat and so there’s not a ton of compression from them but I feel like if we had gotten a small it would’ve been too short between her front legs and her back legs and would’ve been extremely uncomfortable to her in that fashion. Definitely remember to measure your cat according to the instructions. I’m not sure how this would fit on a male cat as I don’t have one small enough to try it on. But for a female cat it works very well. Overall, I am very pleased with these onsies.

Perfect!!
My 4 month old kitten needed some major surgery that would leave a Plastic brace with sutures on the outside of his body. He will have this for 4 weeks. He was given a soft cone from the vet. Within hours of getting home the cone had him screaming. He hated it and was moving in ways that could injure him. I put a baby onsie on him and immediately looked for something just like this. As you can imagine a 4 month kitten who isn't allowed to climb, jump and play was even restricted walking because of the stupid cone. The moment I put this on him he immediately perked up. I felt comfortable to have him walk around on his own terms with little worry he would hurt himself. He can use the litterbox with no issues and he sleeps very comfortably. I bought the small because he's 4 months forgetting the detail that he is a maine coon and this won't last too long on him so I have already purchased a medium. I cannot praise enough how much better this has made me feel about his recovery for a long period of time. I recommend this to anyone who has a cat with a tummy wound or even a back wound.

BEST PURCHASE EVER!!! Read! (XS 4mo kitten 4.5lb)
None of my cats have ever been able to keep cones on so with kitten I didn't even want to go through it. She was so tiny, so I wasn't sure she was big enough for the XS Surgical suit. It was perfect. She was 4 months old and a very tiny 4.5lb. She looks big in the picture but she was not. At all. I remember thinking that there wasn't a size small enough for her.It was a little baggy at first, but as long as you keep the loop on the back of the neck adjusted snug around the neck, it's fine. This one also has a wider butt space compared to others. She was so cute, she would let me put it on even though she hated it and then she would immediately not move. Lol.I was nervous about her and my 1-year-old cat playing during the night or her licking her wound when I was sleeping. Didn't have to worry because with this on she stayed right with me every single night and did not move unless she had to. It's funny it was like a straight jacket, but she liked it in a weird way.If I was able to keep an eye on her, I would give her breaks and she was a totally different cat as soon as it came off! She was super calm when it was on and as soon as it came off she was zipping all over the place, playing! As soon as it was back on, Little Miss snuggles.I bought two in case I needed to wash one but I only ended up using this one. The other one I tried it on her and the butt part didn't look like it was going to be big enough if she went to the bathroom, whereas this one was perfect. The whole butt area was cut out.It was softer and stretchier. By far the best. Her mom got fixed after and I bought the adult size ones, a couple different as well, and same thing. This blue one is the best.I searched them all, all the reviews, for DAYS before I purchased. I don't leave many reviews but I figured I would help you guys out. Get it.It's okay if it's baggy, it's the neck that needs to be tight. If you aren't sure, go a size up. She was 4 months old and just under 5 lb and it fit her perfect, just the right amount of baggy.

If you have a fighter, this won't work
They are quite nice and are a great idea as they are much more comfortable than a cone. But if your cat is a fighter, it will work day and night to shred it. We had to order 2 over the 6 week recovery period because our 5-pound tigress hated it :-)

Quality isn't 5⭐ but it let my kitty recover comfortably from a spay!
My cat had to be kept from licking her surgery site after a spay and hated her cone (and also was getting stuck on everything with it, from the litter box to furniture) so our vet suggested a recovery suit. This turned out to be a great alternative and worked really well for her. This suit was stretchy, let her move around well (maybe too well!? hahah), and didn't seem to bother her at all outside of her obviously being upset she couldn't groom her surgery site. My two complaints are that there were a bunch of visible loose threads the day we got the suit in the mail, and that the suit looked way rougher than I feel it ought to have by the end of the two weeks our vet recommended we keep it on her despite her being an indoor-only cat who wasn't exactly living a rough-and-tumble life (as she was recovering from, duh, a surgery). So, for the price we paid, I feel that the quality wasn't quite there. Another little quibble is that despite her being an M in the size chart, it was just a teensy bit looser than I would have liked it to have been. That wasn't a dealbreaker and it wasn't worth exchanging, but I do think that the quality issues went hand in hand with the size inconsistency. All that being said, I am of course happy that she was able to recover more comfortably than she could have in a cone and I would absolutely recommend a recovery suit to any cat parents. I just don't know that the letter jumble company branded one is necessarily the best on the market.
