Sulky Of America 3mm Puffy Foam, 6" by 9", White

I've used this foam on many different digitized files and it works perfectly.Any bits that are left can easily be taken care of with a heat gun.

Great product, it did what I needed it to do. Washed great.

Works great but expensive for the amount you get

this is a little thicker than I expected. Since it is the first time doing puffy appliqué I can't say if it is too thick. It worked great for me.

The foam itself was high quality as Sulky products are. I was using it for machine embroidered Christmas ornaments. This is where there could have been user error and I’d like feedback if you have suggestions. I was using 3mm foam and could only stitch 3 stitches at a time before the thread would break. The needle was a 75/11 sharp as recommended on the package. I changed threads several times but was unable to complete the project. I’ve used Puffy Foam in the past successfully so I’m wondering if 3mm was too thick. Thank you in advance for helpful suggestions.
