Type of Soil does matter
I just recently started paying better attention to the kind of soil I use. I used to just put all plants within a traditional and common potting soil (mainly those I could find on sale). After my niece chewed and tied a knot in my tail regarding my laziness and assumption that the type of soil really didn't matter, I decided to oil the hinges on my wallet, pry it open and get the specialized soil that some of my plants required. Still can't believe the cost of this soil but given that in just 1 month after re-potting certain plants they all went from looking okay to looking really healthy with new growth. Suppose it's up to the owner of the pant(s) on what you're willing to do/spend to have healthy, thriving plants versus plant(s) that are just barely surviving and looking rather shabby.

You too can have impressive bamboo
I don’t know much about gardening or plants, but I repotted a small, sad bamboo plant from Walmart using this soil and now people in my office are always complimenting my bamboo skills! They think I’m a bamboo genius because of how fast the plant is growing. Maybe it’s me or maybe it’s the soil. The world may never know.

Working great!
I thought it would be a "finer" grain "soil mix" but it is working just fine. I repotted my orchids with this mix and put them in special orchid pots (so they can breathe and don't sit in water. I also feed them regularly and provide them with bright diffused lighting. I am happy to say that one of them has sprouted new blossoms and both have new leaves. Use the right products and your orchids will love you.

Odor is too strong for indoor use
The soil looks good enough. But the peat in it makes it stink like manure. I can smell it across the room. So it’s not for me suitable for indoor plants. I’m gonna use it in my outdoor pots.

No gnats included; plants are happy
Good mixture and my Africa violets are happy in it.

A Premium Blend
I’m thrilled with this Professional Aloe Plant Soil! I used it to transplant my aloe vera into a bigger pot, and it’s doing fantastic. The premium blend of pinebark, peat, and coarse sand drains perfectly and supports healthy growth for aloe, cactus, and succulents. The 2.2-quart size is plenty for multiple plants, and I love that it’s ready to use right out of the bag. Plus, it’s Made in the USA, which is a big win for me.Pros: Excellent drainage, high-quality ingredients, generous quantity, no prep needed, supports aloe growth beautifully. Cons: Slightly pricier than generic soils, but the results are worth it. Could use a resealable bag for storage.Highly recommend this soil for any succulent lover!
