It’s great that all these tools come together because they are all essential when doing most masonry workEach handle is very comfortable and super soft unlike some others which are made of wood that can cause calluses very easily when working all day.They all come out of the box sharp and ready to use which I absolutely love.The different sizes are great for various jobs both big and smallThe stainless steel construction seems quite good and these should last a very long time if well maintainedFor the price I think is an absolutely great set to have for someone that does a little or a lot of masonry work

I am a weekend warrior on my property and not a full time concrete guy or contractor. For this set of tools, I was pouring a small concrete base to put an AC compressor on. These worked well to smooth out the surface and finish the job. The build quality seems good and the weld joints should hold for a while. They feel comfortable and well-balanced in the hand. Time will tell if the metal rusts or deteriorates after use. If you’re doing this 40 hours a week as your career, you might want to upgrade, but for the average handyman using these once a week, you should be fine. I would have given up one of the trowels and replace it with an edger so that I wouldn’t have to buy a separate item if I didn’t have one already.

After checking the edges, I found that they were not all flat and smooth.. I found some nicks, where my finger nail would catch as I ran my finger nail over the edge of the blade.. The biggest trowel was the worst when it came to roughness or nicks.. All 3 of them has some sort of rough edges on the ends, and 2 of them had little nicks in the metal on the sides.. The biggest one had a rough feel for multiple inches in a row on the side..This is not to say that they are bad trowels, but more along the lines of.. Since concrete is more forgiving about minor nicks and imperfections, I would say that these would work fine for mortar, concrete, etc work.. But since plaster will show every single little imperfection, you are going to see this a lot more doing drywall work.. This is not to say that they can not be used for it, but just more long the lines of I would get something with a flawless edge for doing work like that..If these were only advertised for concrete work, I would have probably given then 4 to 5 stars, because the minor imperfections would not matter much doing that kind of work.. But since they advertise it for plastering, that is why I gave it 3 stars.

Had a couple of home projects I wanted to complete and found these high quality trowels. There are three different sizes and all are sturdy and durable. Would definitely recommend them if you have any masonry projects.
