Just received it, but great monitor
Update: If your display keeps flickering black seemingly at random or when you click on a window, make sure you disable GSYNC in the Nvidia control panel. Apparently it's when you have a HDMI source, even if you use DisplayPort with this monitor. If it happens at all just disable it, it isn't worth the hassle unless you use this as a secondary monitor to a real GSYNC monitor.I followed another review's instructions for a beautiful HDR display: Enable HDR in Windows settings, set NVIDIA color settings (bottom of 'change resolution' option) to YCbCr422, 10bpc, and limited range. Make sure to enable HDR in the monitor's settings OSD.In HDR mode it is beautiful and runs/looks great at 144hz or more. HDR is a bit too bright for me, so I set it back to SDR with mid brightness and it looks pretty good/standard. You really need to mess with the display settings in either your OS or the monitor itself to get it right, don't freak out if it looks wrong when you first get it.Overall this monitor is exactly as described and looks amazing if you enable HDR. My biggest complaint is the cheap/wobbly stand. I'd recommend getting a good replacement if possible. I had no issues with brightness except with HDR, but that's par for the course. Light bleed seemed perfectly acceptable to me, even with HDR enabled. OSD controller know is easy and intuitive, made it easy even with another monitor bordering the edge. I highly recommend this monitor, I upgraded from a CB271HU and it's much nicer.

Great Monitor
Granted this was my first ever 1440p monitor, I was thoroughly pleased with it. Beautiful colors, crisp image quality, and a price you really can't beat. I think I got it on sale too so it felt like a no brainer after 10+ years of 1080p.

Perfect gaming monitor for Xbox Series S/X
I bought this monitor as my primary gaming monitor using my Xbox and have been very happy with it so far. The frame rate and resolution are more than enough for any game I play on Xbox series s and I can tell a significant difference between it and my older monitor. It is also BRIGHT! The only downside to this monitor could be the viewing angles, but since I’m always sitting directly in front of it I’ve had no issue there. The internal speakers aren’t bad also and suffice for video calls or low volume gaming. Very happy with this purchase for the price and value!

Big screen, great picture quality, splendid response times, mediocre HDR and average brightness
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmiiprx 27" Monitor. WQHD 170hz. Purchased in late march of 2023.Video above has been slowed down to 20% to allow my phones camera to capture the difference between 170hz and 60hz. Image quality is great, but the brightness is average. It handles brightness very well however, the maximum brightness retains all the detail in the image, but it just doesn't get bright enough to produce any meaningful HDR experience. It also just uses one large backlight, so the contrast isn't amazing though the panel I got had pretty dark blacks, though no panel is the exact same.I'd recommend this panel if you're using any card like an RTX 3080 or lower, and are not specifically looking for HDR. I don't recommend you look for an HDR panel at the moment anyways, you should get a panel like this that does everything well for $250, and save money for a true HDR panel which will run upwards of $700.

+Great value +high refresh -matte screen -only 2k
Pros: Great value and build quality. Easily adjustable stand height and angle. Very high refresh rate. Included cables are good quality.Cons: Matte screen is meant to diffuse glare, but it instead it seems to add a low amount of uniform glare from any angle. (I would rather just change my monitor angle and have a glossy screen with deeper blacks.)2K resolution is ok but 4K would be noticeably better.LED, not OLED.For the price, this is a solid monitor.4.5 starsIf you want a 5 star monitor, spend another $500+

Fantastic monitor for the price
I was shopping for a monitor since I have been laptop gamer for my entire gaming career. I saw this monitor had good reviews, so I checked it out and decided to buy it.First off, it was extremely simple to but the monitor together and plug it into my laptop! It was very quick and easy. This monitor actually boosts my FPS compared to when I was playing on just the laptop. I am also able to run the same amount of FPS on 2560x1440 (2k) compared to 1920x1080 (1080p).The monitor works smoothly in game and for daily use. The 0.5ms response time is very quick and smooth. There is basically no delay when pressing onto the keys on my keyboard while typing and moving in game. The 170 hz response time and the vibrant colors make gaming look a whole lot better when compared to my laptop. It is really a huge difference and makes my gaming experience a lot more enjoyable. There is a ton of adjustability on this monitor. There is way more than I even need, but it is good that there are more options available.I don't know if this is just me but I am able to set my res to 4K when it is advertise to go up to 2K. I guess this is a good bonus for me.
