Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour Drops, Vegan, Semi-permanent, Purple Hair Dye, Lasts 2 to 12 Washes, Orchid Purple 30 ml

With the release of House of the Dragon I wanted Targaryen silver hair again. I usually keep it white and didn’t want anything that would stain or not wash out. This is amazing! I take a handful of hair mask or conditioner, use more conditioner than they tell you to use or it’ll go patchy just adjust the amount of drops to compensate! Then I use between 3-6 drops of this and mix it together in my hands. Then I apply by scrubbing it into my roots first then I pull it through the ends. I’ll mix more if I need to because my hair is thick. I only leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse off.My brother complimented my hair colour the other day after using this, he never notices but said the colour was really cool. It banishes all yellow tones and if you want a more intense colour you just add more drops but I wanted a barely silver look and I love it! It washes out quickly which is a bonus for me because I can then have it white or use my pink shampoo for a little rose tone.It’s so easy to just throw it on after shampooing in the shower. No tint brush or bowl needed. It’s honestly effortless and I’m so pleased I tried it. It is not a dye though so if your hair isn’t basically white or a very pale yellow, think the inside of a banana peel, it will not work! So don’t buy if you have darker hair and think it’ll lighten it. It won’t. Other than that it’s amazing and a fab price. I’ve used it every wash since I got it and still have loads left.

A lot easier to use than expected. Only used a couple of drops to start with & was pleasantly surprised at the result - subtle lilac shade. Will experiment with extra drops next time for a deeper hue. Well pleased.

Exactly as picture and I followed enclosed instructions. It coloured the light grey very well but not so much the darker grey. I done a 2nd time & used a lot more & it still wasn't so good on the darker parts. It still looked okay though and I will use again and put more on and maybe leave longer. I did think it would be a lot better and if your hair is all light grey or blonde, it would be fine. Just not good for my ombre grey long hair.I am returning to this review because I want to add to it, as I have now been using this for a while. What I want to say is, the more you use it, the better colour you get, it builds up on your hair. I do find that I use a lot more than it says to use but I have got quite long hair, down my back. Over time it does colour your darker hair and looks lovely when the light shines on it. You do have to use every 3 or 4 wks for it to look good. And its better left on for at least 10mins, I find. It does wash out and you wouldn't want to get caught in a downpour of rain, you would turn purple lol but I don't find it comes off on pillows or clothes. Its definitely better than using strong dye and colours on your hair. I do recommend it and I will definitely buy again.

A bit tricky to get the balance with this product. You add it to conditioner. Make sure to mix really well because if you get it undiluted on your hair like I did you’ll get proper purple streaks! It’s pretty potent colour, and you might need a few tries to get the colour you’re looking for. Recommend starting with a small amount like 2-3 drops in about 1tbsp of conditioner - easy to add more if you want a stronger colour but if it’s more purple than you want you’ll be stuck with it for a while…

very vibrant but will NOT wash out easily if that’s what you want it to do. it stained my hair for weeks after even after washing every day and shampooing twice each time

Well I put in my dark brownhair now my hair is purple

I used about 6 drops in 20ml of conditioner as directed and it dyed my hair blue (like a cobalt-ish colour) instead of purple. It's a nice colour, but it doesn't look purple at all, even in sunlight. I have requested a refund.

Having dyed bright red hair requires some upkeep, these drops are absolutely perfect for refreshing in-between sessions it's a beautiful colour
