Works great - charged the included Wasabi batteries and the Nikon provided battery. Great battery life!

I had to film EDCLV 2022 for all three days, so I knew I needed more than the single battery that shipped with the Z9. And all the native Nikon batteries were still sold out everywhere. I’ve used this brand before when I shot with Canon t3i’s. Honestly; pretty stoked on how well these guys work! Internal charging works with them. And the dual battery charger is clutch, because these batteries don’t fit on the native Z9 charger and vise versa. One battery ended up lasting me a full evening of shooting (8pm to 5am). On long one takes in 4K; I probably went from full to 20% in about two hours. I try not to drain them to 0%, juat so I don’t ruin the longevity of the battery. Overall; 9/10 on these guys! Would HIGHLY recommend these as a cheaper but still amazing batteries!

The Wasabi Batteries tested well during a photoshoot last week. Good power and no trouble photographing 3 basketball games. Still had 2 bars of power remaining at the end, but with minimal image viewing during the games. I did notice that the charge 'seeps' out of the battery faster than the OEM Nikon batteries. After sitting for a week unused, they lost one bar of charge power. But overall - great battery.

Update: Important - the issue below is an Amazon issue, NOT Blue Nook's. I contacted Blue Nook and Terry told me that they do not ever ship used products, so this must be Amazon's doing. I will only order directly from Blue Nook at the Wasabi website from now on. Wasabi products are normally excellent, I've used them for years with no problems whatsoever. Terry sent me a replacement item directly from his warehouse the next day which works flawlessly with my D4. Outstanding customer service from a company that cares.Original review:Firstly, this was a used item and had dried food stuck to the charger - disgusting. Secondly, the left terminal didn't work, presumably why it was returned in the first place. Totally unacceptable.

I redently bought a new camera and when I bought a spare nikon battery it was defective. I replaced it with another spare nikon battery and it was defective as well. I had used Wasabi power on my old camera and amazon wouldn’t send a third replacement so I bought a wasabi dual charger and two batteries for the price of just one nikon battery. They work great and I can charge two at a time and now have much more battery life rhat works for less money. Win, win, win

Using with a Z9. They work fine when they are fully charged, but as soon as the power starts to drop, it causes all kinds of glitches. If I put in the actual Nikon battery, everything works perfect. Don't waste your money. You will regret it.

There are two batteries in this offering. I read reviews about batteries dying early so I charged both and tested them twice (charge/test-charge/test). One was fine, but one wouldn’t hold a charge even when not in a camera. I’ve requested an exchange so I’ll update this after those arrive.Test early so that you can return within the 30 days.UPDATE:The issue really was that the Wasabi battery isn’t fully compatible with the Nikon D850 and was causing the camera electronics to crash. It needed all batteries out to reset and I had one in the camera. Taking the camera battery out allowed me to be able to pull the Wasabi battery out of the grip and put it back to restore operation but I don’t know what damage might occur to the camera or the digital images (stored or processing in the camera). I returned this and am purchasing a Nikon EN-EL18c battery. Not changing my rating but also not recommending it for the D850.

I just tried these batteries for the first time on my Nikon D810 with a Nikkor 105mm 1.4g with a Genuine Nikon MB-D12 Battery Grip and they are great! If you need a MB-D12 Battery Grip I would highly recommend ebay auctions as I found one there last week for only $60 as opposed to the whopping 427 Dollars brand new tag. My ebay purchased grip is in excellent condition (really more of open box) as well and looks brand new. So if you cant afford this and the grip new, id go that route. I shot the entire night and didn't have any issues at all. Battery still has power in it! Its also much easier and more comfortable posture while shooting to shoot in portrait mode with the MB-D12 grip than without the grip due to the location of the shutter release. You do need the Wasabi BL-5 Battery Door for it to work with the Nikon MB-D12 Battery Grip. (The BL-5 Door does not come with the grip from Nikon and has to be purchased separately for it to work) My Camera seems to focus quicker too. No need to worry if your cameras going to die at the most important time at a wedding or event. Can use Live View more without worrying about conserving battery. These "D" sized batteries have a higher capacity than the standard ones. Possibly one of the best ways to "supercharge" your D810 in June 2023! Terry provided me with Excellent Customer Service as well! He answered all my questions and concerns about charging! I will certainly return to buy other products for my other cameras here as well as needed! The quality is just as good as Nikons! Would highly recommend! Thanks Again Terry!
