Relief to find these for plus size older female sport kayaker
Cheers to Lemorecn for providing a 3X at a reasonable price and seems to be pretty good quality for a plus size (~ 45 inch waist, sz 22-24 pant) short female senior sport kayaker. No doubt losing weight in a reasonable way is recommended - but for affordable plus size sport clothes, seems like you have to go to high end specialty shops most of the time. Kinda hard to lose weight if you can't get the right kind of clothes unless you spend a fortune. Our "cool water" spring season (50-60 degrees water temps) doesn't last that long so I don't feel like spending a lot.Aside from the fact I can squeeze into these, they just feel well made. Luv the drawstring so they don't slide down my behind, and they put up with me viciously tugging them up over the curves. (Gotta try the wetsuit cheap panty hose trick - throw on some cheap pantyhose and helps a wetsuit glide on). For sure I push the stretch to get these on over my fat hips, but the pants seem unfazed lol. The size chart was accurate for me.These are tight on me, but these kinds of clothes are suppose to be. Since I'm short (5'3"), there's some bunching at the knee, but nothing that bothers me. I can move freely. Combined with a men's 4X REALON brand jacket (to fit over my chest) and some booties, gloves, and windbreaker, ready to get out sport kayaking a bit earlier (50-60 degree water temps). Of course the idea is NOT to end up in the water, but inevitably I end up in some water getting the kayak in and out. Also, when my inflatable kayak sprung a leak last fall, my whole lower torso and feet were unpleasantly cold by the end of the day, as the kayak slowly took on water. Sure wish I'd had these pants and some booties then.Feel a whole lot better having acquired these pants after a lot of searching to fit. Have the feeling I may use them more than I thought I would - glad I ordered a second pair.

Great pants for kayaking and paddle boarding
I use these pants for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding when the outdoor temperature is below the mid-50s. They fit snug but not tight so allow for easy movement. These pants do not fit as snug as a traditional wetsuit. They are warm but not too warm for how I use them, so just right. Drawstring waist is a nice feature. Fantastic price. This is my second pair, so I liked them enough to buy again. These are also great if you’re walking on the beach in chilly and windy weather. Go up one size when ordering. I am 6’3”, 200 lbs, 37” waist and wear the XXL.

fit well
I dropped one star for the worthless toggle on the draw string. In rough water or diving in the supplied toggle will leave you with the pants at your ankles. Throw it away and either tie the cord or replace it with a good single hole toggle as I did.I purchased the XL and they fit me near perfect, snug but not compression. Waist height ok and seat ok (a tiny bit more seat room in my case would make the waist height better when sitting in a kayak). Neoprene doesn't keep you warm until it traps water between it and you skin. It needs to be snug enough so the water stays put and does not flush through or run out. Me: 6-1, 200 lbs, 38 waist, 42 seat, 24 thigh.Material is good quality and well sewn. I am using it for WW kayaking in cool (40s) water. Walked around and did some swimming in a large eddie and these pants did well. Haven't swam a rapid in them , but with the replacement toggle I don't think they will be a problem. Neo, even at 1.5, is a great protector when it comes to rocks and debris. These will be useable until water gets really warm in early summer.

Comfortable
Prevents rash when surfing. I absolutely love these pants. Brought them on a surf trip to Mexico. Temperature was good, comfortable material, used them every day. Highly recommend.

These keep us warm in cold waters.
My husband and I live near the coast and we like to look for shells in the water at the shoreline. We live in north Florida where the winter weather gets down to the 40’s and 50’s. We bought these neoprene wetsuit pants to keep warm while walking in the shallow cold water. We tested them in 50 degree water last week and they work great. I was unsure of the sizing after reading other reviews. I am 5’3” and weigh 135 pounds and ordered a size Medium. My husband is 5’9” and he weighs 165 and ordered a size Large. Both fit great, and there was still extra stretch available. Mine does have a little extra room at the crotch to fit extra parts. We tested the wetsuits last week in weather and water in the 50’s, along with our new Capas neoprene socks. We were not cold at all.

Great for the price
I have worn these several times in the water, particularly on cold days. They are not too snug so reasonably easy to get on and off. The drawstring is slightly flimsy but works ok. Very sturdy for the price 👌

Sizing is off!
These are not correctly sized. I ordered up in size since this material is unforgiving and couldn’t come close to getting them on.
