SO MUCH SPACE! (2 year update)
UPDATE:Lately I have been using this bag to carry as much Powerade as I can fit because I ride an electric scooter and it fits a little over 4 gallons of Powerade bottles inside which is insane. The zippers and straps hold up even with all the movement on my scooter and it being stuffed with bottles. 4 gallons may not seem like much but it’s actually pretty heavy and the bag holds up perfectly after all this time. If I had to get another bag it would be this one.ORIGINAL REVIEW:First off let me say I didn’t expect this bag to have so much quality for such a low price (or maybe I’m new to the bag world and this bag is more on the expensive end?). There is plenty of room here I use this bag as an over night bag when I go to my girlfriends house and I pack 5 nights worth of clothes in the center then I put a hoodie and slides (as house shoes) in the center as well with my clothes. The side pocket I use for all my bathroom stuff (shampoos shower stuff morning stuff brushes lotion you know what I mean) the other side pocket I use for socks and underwear the front pocket I just put small stuff that I may need at any moment (inhaler a mini 1 dollar hotsauce bottle, I need my hotsauce what can I say) and I haven’t even figured out what to do to fill the rest of the bag. I don’t regret the purchase at all and to top it all off I got a complement on the leather zippers lol.

Excellent for the price.
I am very surprised by the quality of this bag for the under $40 price I paid. The canvas material is very heavy duty, the zippers work flawlessly, and there is plenty of room with the expandable sections. There are ample pockets and zippered compartments both on the inside and outside. The stitching is first rate with no frays or loose threads anywhere and there are rubber moldings affixed to the bag's bottom. If I had one complaint, it would be that bag is a bit "droopy" in the middle when you use the shoulder strap. The strap pulls up on the ends causing the bag to "V" in the middle. It is not a deal breaker by any means however and if it really bothers you, there are rigid bag bottoms available to buy for just this purpose. This one is a winner.

My go-to travel bag
I use this travel bag primarily for sales trips and can easily fit enough clothes for 3-4 days along with some other odds and ends. The side pockets expand for extra room as well if needed. I also take this as my personal item when flying and being that it can compress if needed, it fits under the seat in front no problem. The fabric has held up to being tossed around, slid on the floor, squished and stretched, and hasn't given up yet. In addition to being durable it also looks good which is a plus. It looks like it could be more expensive than it is.The only thing that I would change is adding slightly more rigidity somehow. I like the fact that it is flexible and can squish down to stow away very compact. This means that when using the shoulder strap when it isn't full or has anything rigid in it, it just kinda folds in the middle because the ends are supported. This isn't a con though. It's just physics.I would recommend this bag for any traveler who wants a good looking bag that holds up to some abuse, is able to be stored compact when not in use, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Great design and quality, but mine had one small but important problem
Almost everything about this bag lives up to expectations from the many positive reviews. It's a great size for carry-on luggage, roomy but still smaller and more flexible than most hard-sided roller bags. It's made of sturdy material, and has a great design, with many convenient pockets. But mine came with one frustrating flaw: one side of the velcro closure on the handle was poorly sewn, not staying in place after being attached and causing the handle to come apart over and over again, every time I picked up the packed bag. I liked everything else the bag so much that it was hard to believe this one important detail was so shoddy! There also seemed to be a lot of loose threads around the velcro, almost as if someone with less skill had made this one part. In any case, I've now taken it to an alterations shop and am hopeful that it's sewn in place like it should have been to start with, so that I can resume using a bag that I otherwise love.

Get This Bag...
I was looking to replace my previous bag, with wasn't canvas. It was 17" long and after about 4 months of daily wear, it started to tear around the main zipper regions. The standard items I'd carry had place too much tension on the main zipper. I did not desire a high end fancy expensive bag, because it sits on my front passenger-side seat and I did not want my car to be broken into and the bag stolen.I sought a stylish, sturdy, and slightly larger bag; 20" L. The color was excellent, because I was also seeking a lower profile. This bag is awesome, so far. All of my standard items fit well, with much additional room, that I would expect to use. I fit with no items stressed, such as my portfolio of important papers and things to do, my tablet and its power supply and IR mouse (caddied), my coin bag for possible tolls and buying small items, and giving for charity, and my toiletry bag, with my tooth brush, hair brush, lotion, etc.... There is still room for adding a couple bottles of water and other snack items, if I needed. With the bag empty, it is very light.I am very pleased with this bag. If it holds firm, the next travel bag will be a high end leather over night bag. This bag will do plenty. I do highly recommend this bag. I hope this help! GLS
