Nice glasses with a light tint in case the sun ever comes out again.
These safety glasses fit comfortably, are light in weight and have a light grey tint for use in the sun.At the time I'm writing this, the weather is rather horrible and grey, but I'm sure we shall see the sun again. When we do, these will be ideal for when I'm working with my power tools outside. The glasses are an attractive design - very similar to my expensive sunglasses, now I look closely, and even the 'Riley' name seems to take its inspiration from them. Swap the 'Ri' for an 'Oak' and you'll get the idea...The important thing is that people might actually wear them if they look good - safety glasses were mandatory in my old job, and the styling of the glasses we issued to the staff was really important. Nobody wants to spend the day wearing safety glasses that look naff. These would definitely have met with the approval of my old team. They are available with blue, clear or grey lenses. I opted for grey as I have plenty of clear glasses for use in the workshop, but none for use outside. The grey is close to being neutral density, so it doesn't affect your colour perception. The lenses wrap right around the eye area leaving very little gap for anything to get in. This includes flies and bugs, as the glasses are suitable for cycling as well as workwear. The nose pads are very soft rubber, and are ridged to make the contact area as small as possible. This makes the glasses very comfortable to wear for long periods, assuming you have a nose, unlike the model in my picture...The arms of the glasses are nearly straight and also made from supple rubber. If you have to wear ear-defenders or a headset over the glasses, you will really appreciate that feature, but Zippy can't demonstrate it, as he doesn't have ears. I need a better model...Ignoring the shortcomings of my assistant, the glasses are very good. They are comfortable, lightweight and look good.

Safety Glasses
These Safety glasses are very well made and seem very robust. They have rubber pads either side of the nose and feel very comfortable to wear. They sit nicely around my ears and side of my head. The pair I tested had dark grey lenses, although blue and clear lenses are also available. The grey is quite dark so bear this is mind with what you are using them for exactly. I use them when cutting bamboo in my garden to protect my eyes, so that is fine as I am in full sunlight. They come with a black draw string bag with Riley on the front (the manufacturer’s name) to store the glasses in to avoid them getting scratched when storing.I have found them nice glasses, very comfortable to wear, and reasonably priced for what they are.I hope you find my review useful. Thanks
