I like to listen to podcasts on the train and music ...
I have gone through several headphones in the last few years, and I have finally found my pair! I like to listen to podcasts on the train and music in my office. I get up often to handle issues, so being corded to my computer was annoying. Winter in the city, ear bud phone functions often picked up too much background noise and I'd have to switch to hand held. Nicer over ear headphones were bulky to carry around. For me, these Cootree headphones were the perfect combination.Pros:-I personally find them very comfortable, particularly compared to earbuds. They do sit slightly funny on the ear; I could see some people finding them uncomfortable, but I really don't notice. The coiled connection provides enough pressure that they feel secure on my head without squeezing, and the earbuds themselves are cushioned.-They roll/fold up very compact. I regularly carry them in jeans front pocket or in a jacket pocket. I don't worry about breaking them the way I do when I put over-ear heap phones in a book bag and no more tangled ear bud wires.-Work great as a phone headset, and easy to answer calls.-The raised control are easy to navigate without looking for answering calls, volume, pause, play, forward and backward.Cons:-Slightly unintuitive how long you have to hold the phone/on button to get to pairing mode if you throw away the instructions (but that's really my fault). I was glad a review here noted the 8 second count for initial pairings.-The LED light that flashes occasionally to show it is connected is really bright.Really, very minor qualms.Unknown:-I have yet to use these for jogging or running, so I am not sure how well they will stay on, but the connection feels secure typically so I would imagine they work well. I mostly use them at my office.-I am not a music connoisseur, and listen mainly to talk and then to background music, so I can't really assess the aural quality of the tebels and bass, etc. It sounds just fine and clear for my uses though.

Surprisingly Good Sound
So I had these for a night before before my new puppy decided to turn them into her latest chew tow (grrrr)......BUT, I ran them through some tests that first night and was pleasantly surprised. Here's the breakdown:SOUND: Really impressed with the sound quality. I wasn't sure with them not being true "over the hear" or buds, but they got very loud, while maintaining a low level of distortion. Are they Bose or Beats, no.....but I mean, if you're expecting that....come on, bro. They don't seal on the ear, but the volume level (with my Galaxy 9+) pretty much drowned out the kids and the Netflix show they had on. With the volume at about 75%, I couldn't hear them at all.COMFORT/FIT: I thought these type of headphones would move or slide all over, but as long as they're wrapped properly over your ears, they really do stay put. I didn't have a chance to run them through a work out, but for something low-impact, they'd easily stay in place. Maybe not so much for a run. The pads were pretty comfy as well, nice and soft.I was actually looking forward to having these for plane rides and being out in public, because I don't like having complete, 100%, noise cancellation....I like to know if something big is going on around me, these would have allowed that because of the fit.AESTHETICS: This is where they lost a star for me. Beats, these are not....especially for looks. These are pretty goofy looking, honestly, even for someone who doesn't really care about having "boutique" or trendy headphones. I have big ears, so maybe it was just a combination of my small head, big ears and on-the-ear design. Maybe if they were overall a little thinner, it would help that.FEATURES: I did test the mic. It worked very well with the Google Voice assistant on my phone. I spoke low and soft and it picked up everything I said without an issue. Could partly be having a quality phone, but the mic has to pick it up first, before the phone can process it. I was actually really impressed with this feature. This also connected immediately to my S9+, as any good Bluetooth device does.OVERALL: If you're looking for this type of headphone, with good sound and a budget price, these are your go to. Are they for everyone, probably not. But the sound and features and are par or better with any other budget (or mid-tier) headphone (over ear or buds) I've used.

It's really good for the price for these reasons
Sound:1) Sound quality surprised me because I didn't think they'd be good for $30 bucks and bluetooth. Turns out they're great for someone who just wants good quality music when biking, longboarding, or working out. Of course they're not Bose-quality or anything but it's highly decent. Pretty balanced in terms of bass and treble.Comfort/Practicality2) I don't see them falling at all unless someone or something pulls them off of you forcibly. It's comfortable and should adjust easily to your head unless it's really really big.Bluetooth Connectivity3) I looked at the manual and connected to my phone in under a minute after taking it out of the box. Needless to say it's easy to connect and controls are intuitive.BUTWhile longboarding the first time, the connectivity was poor...the sound went in and out so it didn't sound too good. Holding it closer fixed that. After the first ride though, the connectivity seemed to be better and I was able to put it in my pocket/backpack.Distance:Doesn't seem to great especially in between walls, it loses connection after taking 15-20 steps away from your phone. Not bad though, great if walking around a room.I haven't used the phone/mic so I don't know about that part.In terms of it's sweatproofness, it seemed awesome. Cali just had a huge storm and I wore these around and they work fine. Definitely pretty resistant to water so far.Overall, it's great for certain types of activity where you're not too far from your phone and want good sounding music.
