ライトグレーの綿100％コーデュロイパンツに漂白剤の飛沫でところどころ白飛びしてしまい、染色に至りました。ダメージパンツで使用しようかとも考えましたが、家族に不評だったので染色することにしました。あれこれ染色剤をあさったところ、パンツ一本染めようとするとある程度の容量の薬剤が必要だったのでこれにしました。正解でした。思い描いたとおりの発色で、まさしくパールグレーでした。染色も申し分なく仕上がりました。まったく色抜けした箇所がわからなくなりました。日本語の説明書が付いてくると思っていましたが、パッケージの英文のみ。英訳のパッケージ写真を載せておきます。反省点は、パンツを裏返すと白飛びした箇所がしっかり残っていたので、生地を裏返しても染色してあげればもっと良い成果が得られたでしょう。

use multiple time to get beach stain out

It's a beautiful color and as long as you follow the directions, whatever you're dying will be fine. I colored my vintage white wedding dress and I was in love with the turn out!

I purchased the pearl grey color to dye some white chair covers (100% cotton) that needed an update. I followed the instructions on rit's website, the dying process was fairly easy but also time consuming. The dispersion of the dye seems even, but the color is not grey. The chairs came out bluish grey, noticeably heavy on the blue. 2 stars because the dye technically worked, but is a very different color than it should have been, which means I get to remove the color and start from scratch.

I'm a glutton for punishment.I bought a third bottle of the dye. Now I have one sneaker completely dyed and the other various shades. I give up. I ruined a perfectly good pair of sneakers. Which I will onyl wear when I'm doing various things I don't care if the sneakers get dirty or beat up. Gordian
