It has worked well for 1 year. It's a perfect size to make 2 portions of rice. The bowl is pretty thin though and it has warped somewhat. As a result of that (I believe) the unit will not complete the cooking cycle now and switches to warm halfway through cooking. I have tried reshaping the base to restore the correct function but it's hit and miss as to whether it works or not. When it doesn't it's a complete frustration. At €50 a year (given it cost €50 and lasted 1 year) I think I'll have to go back to the saucepan.

Bought this as a present. It was unpacked and put on a shelf. Gone to use it for the first time today, only to find it has an EU plug so is no good for UK sockets. Not mentioned anywhere in description.

Despite ordering from UK Amazon it came with a 2 pin plug so it needs changing to a 3pin. Bit of a pain but not the end of the world.

Would have loved to try it out as it had good reviews but although selling the item in the UK it comes with a Continental plug and no adaptor included. Bad service.Update: despite using its plastic spoon exclusively the non stick later is gone after 4 months! Too expensive for what it is.

Price of this rice cooker, you can get one double the size for half the price.. return pending

I had others that keep warm after cooking but they stop after 30 minutes. This one keeps warm forever and does not stop.
