My Mahjong group loves this wind indicator. It’s small so it’s not intrusive. It’s very well made. This is not a toy.

Peref3ect wind indicator for any Mahjong set. Easy insert to change wind and built sturdy.

Adds a nice and simple touch of elegance as a bettor, compared to the plastic-encased spindle included with many of the American Mahjong sets. If unfamiliar with the symbols for the seats, one of the included wooden dice can be used instead to indicate player 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Nice game accessory, like that it is wood and not plastic. But, like the other reviews, the wind designs were hard to see, so I bought a dark brown, extra fine tip sharpie and went over the etched designs.

The wind characters on the die are lighter making it a bit hard to read but there's an easy solution to fix it. Overall, it's a very nice accessory for any mahjong set. Bonus, it also came with 3 regular dice which I needed anyway.

When I first was looking for a mahjong wind indicator and came across this one, I thought that it was over priced for what you're receiving. When I received it, I was presently surprised that it was well made.

I liked everything about the bettor except that the wind symbols were too light. I easily remedied this problem by filling in the engraved marking with a dark brown Sharpie.
