It does what it promises. it has been reliable so far!

I was excited about this charger. And then I used it. It would not charge. It showed to be, and CarPlay said it was. But, nope. My phone actually lost charge while being connected. And my phone would get really hot while on the charger. It’s a shame, really. The design is good and it fits the console area well. But it doesn’t work.

I have an iPhone.This did not work with just placing my phone on the charger, and it was not compatible with the case I had on my phone. I bought a new MagSafe case and it was able to charge.The phone can get extremely hot and shut down when it is charging and in use. There is also a “sweet spot” to charge the phone.This is not 15w charging but it’s decently fast and I do have another item plugged into the included USB port.You can only charge 1 item at a time. But I can put my AirPods (you can see the bulky case) on the charging area and they will charge.I do like the extra storage area that’s the perfect size for my AirPods.

Great to have a wireless charger!Pros:Looks like it was factory installed.No problem connecting it. Drops into the tray and stays put.Phone doesn’t move while driving.ConsThe only problem I have found after using it for 2 weeks is that it’s a little slow changing. Wish it was faster but it works for me. Haven’t tried changing it when my phone was completely dead but will update you later. Only really used it when my battery was at 75-80%.If you’re looking for a wireless charger that looks like it’s built in, this is the one to get.I highly recommend this. Hope this helps anyone considering this.More to come…..

For the Cherokee, this makes great use of a space where our phones would get lost and difficult to retrieve. It does not block access to the vehicle controls. It's actually easier to retrieve my phone from the charger than from the black hole Jeep put in front of the shifter. It charges as well as any inductive charger. It does use the USB port on the console but that hasn't proven to be an issue or obstruction at all.

Bought as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. He hates long chords to show and is very happy with the short chord that goes into the cigarette lighter. We went on a long trip and it kept the phone charged with no issues. He was very happy. Was easy to install and fits the Cherokee perfectly. Highly recommend.
