I was extremely pleased with the fit. The fabric was sturdy. It was exactly what I wanted!!! I’m proud to be a U.S. Army veteran and my Grandchildren were proud to see their Grandma at their school in uniform with shiny black boots!!!

The fit is great other than the belly area if you have a belly at all it is a bit tight. But I love them otherwise.

The top my brother doesn't have a problem with but with his hips being as wide as they are he needs to go a size or two up. He has jeans 38 inches at the waist so I him got a XXL, advertised to fit up to 40 inch waists, and it's tighter than a water sealed door. I highly doubt the manufacturer cares enough to look at these but if you do, holy jumping up and down Martha you need to get it together. If I order pants 40 inches at the waist I expect to get pants 40 inches at the waist, not 35.7 or whatever unmeasured number you managed to pull out of who knows where. Invest in tape measures.

Let me start off by saying that this set looks great! There are plenty of pockets for tools and patches for hook n loop. The fabric feels strong, it offers great protection against thorns, but wonder how many washes these can handle.The top fits my bulky muscular frame VERY well and allows full, non tugging movement.But the bottoms... that is another story.I ordered size xxL hoping they would run big but these pants were made to fit folks who skipped leg day at the gym. They are really snug and short at the groin and waist. I don't want anything getting down the back. I feel like they will rip if I squat too fast. I used these out in the field and low and behold, I popped a button for the belt loop...smh Because of all that, I used a mismatch camo bottom. Those are not thorn resistant. :(
