Fascinating. There are Blessings to be found in this Story.
As Sadhu Sundar Singh said, the message of this book is not meant to focus on the existence of an ancient Christian Maharishi. Sundar Singh's primary message is to preach Jesus Christ, which should be true for all of us. But I did find Christian Maharishi to be fascinating. It is the experience of one ancient Christian man, whose story cannot be compared with anyone else. As with Enoch, who was one-of-a-kind and nobody since has had the experiences that Enoch did. (And Enoch had many mystical experiences, if you've read the book of Enoch.) It would be wrong to seek for such experiences for ourselves, but we can learn from them. However, it's a blessing to think that a Holy Man in Tibet is praying for the Church of Jesus around the world. And it's a blessing to think that Jesus is returning very soon, as He promised the ancient sage. It's as blessing that PRAYER is so important to Jesus, he extended the life of this ancient prophet so he could continue to intercede. We should be encouraged by the Maharishi's example. Our prayers matter! And it's something to consider, that the Western Church has been so corrupted that we don't understand what holiness is, or even how to seek it. I have complained many times about microphones: I detest microphones. I'm glad there won't be any microphones in heaven. They seem to be a symbol of who is "spiritual" and who isn't, in the Western churches. (But that's my own rant and tangent.) It was this story of the Maharishi that put into perspective how foolish we've been. And how much we need to repent of.So even though it's a strange story, there are good lessons to learn from it.Is the Christian Maharishi real? I hope so, and I pray blessings on him for his labors. Just as I suspect the Shroud of Turin is probably the real Shroud of Jesus, and just as I believe that Enoch walked right into heaven. These are not things to obsess about, because they can't be proved. But they can be a blessing to us if we consider them in the right way.

I read the Kindle edition, but will now order a hard copy that I can share with my grown Christian children.
This book is the most magnificent one yet by Sadhu Sundar Singh that I have read. Let there be no mistake! This IS a book about a CHRISTIAN PRAYER WARRIOR. We who read it are so blessed that the author wrote this meeting down for us. Toward the end, there is also a brief account of the history of Christianity in India. I was immensely interested to learn that one of the The Three Wise Men that followed the Star bearing gifts to the Christ Child was from India. I did not know that Christianity goes back to the first century in India, though I knew that one of the martyred apostles was martyred in India. After reading this book, I UNDERSTOOD the first chapter of John with a depth of understanding I never had before though I could practically recite it. I do regret that this precious book shows up on the same Amazon page as "Thunder on the Mountain" which is NOT a similar book and has NOTHING to do with Jesus; NOTHING!The Mystery of the Maharishi of Mt Kailash explains the Holy Trinity so well that it is an everlasting gift of joy to really understand rather to swallow it whole as dogma. I loved Jesus so much even as a child that I "swallowed" it and believed it, but now I UNDERSTAND IT. Don't let the term, "Maharishi" throw you off, it only means what we in the Western World would call a "MONK" or "PRIEST or a "HERMIT".....a servant of our Lord dedicated to intercessory prayer for the world and mankind. I am deeply grateful for this book which is so rich and available in digital, Kindle format so the print can be adjusted to low vision if needed as well as paperback.

An Account Worth Reading About A Servant Of Christ Jesus.
This book is an eye opener to the mysteries of the kingdom of God. Even if you’re ready and willing to accept extraordinary stories about the power of God, this story will show you with scriptures that Jesus can still surprise you fairly easily. This is a must read.

Mysterious
I really enjoyed this book until I got to a point where the writer used the vision of King Saul in summoning Prophet Samuel as a back up to approve calling saints who have died in the Lord. I was a little bit surprised because, from my biblical knowledge and theology, I know it is unscriptural for us to call the spirits of dead people. Apart from that. I learnt a lot of mysteries in the spiritual realm of the book.

A wonderful read
It should not be too hard to believe this testimony if one believes in Jesus of the Holy Bible. This book stirs the soul to believe beyond current comprehension. I have recommended it to my friends.

So much spiritual insights
I have read most of the books on Sadhu Sundar Singh. Not sure how I did not see this one earlier. What a blessing! Sundar does mention the Maharishi of Kailash in some of his other writings but does not provide much details. This book definitely shines more light on this. I highly recommend all to read this short book.
