I've updated my review of this product to 5 stars, not because I was able to get it to work, but because of the outstanding customer service I received! I think I may have received a defective product, but the seller was amazingly quick at reaching out and working with me to satisfactory resolution. Their customer service was top notch! I would still remind people that you cannot have a metal plate on your case or phone to use this, or any cordless charger.I really wanted this to work. It's for an elderly person and I was hoping to give them the ease of sitting the phone on a charger, but I could not get this charger to work. At first I realized it was because the case I was using had a metal ring on the back. This charger WILL NOT charge through the metal. So seeing this, I swapped cases and used a plastic pop socket. The illustrations on the selling page show that this charger will work with that. Nope! It would initially start charging, with shouts of jubilation, but then stop charging after just a few seconds, much to the dismay of those invested in getting this to work.I tinkered with this thing all afternoon, moving the phone around, trying different angles, but nothing and have finally given up. It seems some people were able to get this thing to work, however I could not and will be returning.

Got this because it allows cordless charging when using a thicker phone case. This works through my glass table also but I’m just using it as a charge pad anyways. But it’s kind of slower than expected even though it came with its own charger plug.

I bought 2 of these. My husband is military and we had to move almost immediately after I got these to go with our gaming desks. We JUST got back home and I went to set these up, they both come on with a green light then just blink red. They sat in an air conditioner temperature controlled unit while we were overseas. It sucks that we werent able to use them and I can't do anything about returning them because I'm well past the return time. Waste of money.

I installed this in a recess that I used a router to cut out into a 2x6 board that I use as a shelf. I actually attempted to use a different brand, and even after chewing enough 2x6 out so that there was only about an 1/8" of wood between the phone and the charger it still wouldn't work. That is when I bought this one and installed it in the same recess. Completely hidden and charges my Google Pixel 7 Pro quick. Well worth the money.

Excellent charger and it powers my phone's charging circuit through a phone case and an item attached to the back of the case without problems. I've elected to NOT mount it under my desk, but I can place the phone directly on top of it and it charges without causing excess heat.

The charger was fairly easy to install and pretty slick at first. I used the sticker to help boost the charge distance through my plywood desk. It never charged my phone very quickly. Almost better for AirPods. And it would get pretty warm on the desk and the device itself. After about a year it just stopped charging altogether. The light on the device stays green when connected to the usb cord, but it just won't charge. Even when I take it out of the desk and put the phone on it directly. I'm not even thinking of replacing it since it really didn't charge fast enough to be useful and gets too warm.

The media could not be loaded. Works through my inch thick wooden desk to charge my Pixel 7 and my iPhone 8 no problem. Charging speed is mid but perfect for sitting at my desk working or during media consumption on my desktop computer. For some reason the iphone 13 pro max that I tried to charge on it wouldn't charge. Might be because of the magnets in the magsafe component on the phone.
