Metaltech I-IMIS Job Site Series 6-3/8'. x 4'. x 2-1/2'. Scaffold 900 Lb. Load Capacity

I bought this scaffolding for my husband for his birthday. He loves it, but when it came there were a couple rubber rings for the planks that were missing. I contacted the company here on Amazon and separately with their email on their business website. They immediately got back to me and sent me the missing parts. I am impressed.With that being said, here is my take on the scaffolding so far. The planks to step on are actually made of a sturdy coated metal. It has rolling feet on the bottom that lock in place. It folds up nice to dismantle and store. We did store it for a bit and then reassembled it. Currently we have the scaffolding behind our house so we can clean the rest of the gutters on our one-story house. For areas of the yard next to our house that are uneven, we took a board and put it under the rollers of the scaffolding to level it out on one side before he got on the scaffolding again. That worked out great. If you need to put the plank at the highest level, you will need a 2-step stool to get up it. We have a plastic one. You could also possibly find another plank for it. Overall, I feel better he is using this instead of a ladder.

Great quality...heavy duty construction of scaffold and casters. Offers support bar that was not available on same type of scaffold our neighbor loaned us. This made painting the trim on our house so much easier...no climbing up and down ladders while juggling your paint and paint brush/roller. I was able to stain the cedar posts on our porches in half the time it took me with a ladder. Never felt safer being up off the ground.

Having used similar ones before, I thought the MetalTech was superior. At first the price was a little much, but when I got it, my mind changed.1. It is taller than regular step ups. Also the outrigger legs, which may be inconvenient for certain places, can be removed, wheels put back on, and it work as normal size step up, which is not in description.2. It is made with heavier tubing, so it has a 900lb weight limit, instead of like 250 or 350.3. The 3rd step plank is nice, but small4. Heavier wheels that are kept in place with cotter pins, not the little push pins like most...Big plus!

I love this thing, I should say we love this thing. Because why wife is actually using it to paint our bathroom we are remodeling. It’s just so much more convenient than a ladder. It comes with 3 steps you can arrange to your height and liking, and a convenient paint or tool tray shelf that folds when not using. I screwed a plastic paint roller tray to the shelf to hold it in place. Then I hang a gallon can of paint to it to refill the tray. You just have so much more reach than using just a ladder.The big dia. Wheels make it so easy to move around also.Very sturdy built and literally took maybe 10 min to put together. A great value and folds up up nicely to transport.This is going to make my crown molding installation so much easier!

I’m very pleased with this rolling scaffolding. I tend to go low cost on most of my purchases and did the same here. I temper my expectations based on what I pay but in this case it didn’t matter. It is very sturdy and well built. I feel very safe working on it and the tool shelf at the top is a great idea. The design is great and it’s easy to fold away for storage. The wheels are really heavy duty and I expect them to last a long time. It got delivered in one day by fed x and I was using it within an hour. It almost makes working fun!!

The unit's packaging was badly torn and I almost returned it immediately. Once opened there were some scratches on the unit but nothing more than cosmetic. The shelves were slightly bent but nothing I couldn't straighten.There were some missing (3) "anti-slip inserts" most likely fell out one of the several openings in the packaging during shipping. I need these for operational safety, and will request them from the supplier. I called the manufacturer MetalTech and they were very pleasant and helpful. They advised met to contact the supplier directly.This is a well-made unit that should be both safe and useful. The packaging made me suspicious that it had been a return item re-packed for sale to me. (This is just a suspicion.) I'll be impressed if I get the missing inserts part number HMCN901, in a timely manner.I did take pictures of the packaging as I received it but after assembly, that did not really affect my opinion of the rolling scaffold unit I received.

Economical and stores well for home projects. Recommend for the occasional DIY project. Plastic mounting pieces for the steps to tubing broke within a few days. Without them, the steps will easily slip (metal to metal) -- very dangerous! I had to purchase 3/4" rubber grommets to replace.

I bought this to use for painting outside of New Orleans shotgun house. I can get more than 3/4 way to top if I stand on a sturdy milk crate. I don't use the very top rail although you could lay a board across. I made my husband stand by while I got up and down the tallest level. I figure if I fall he can catch me haha.Tall friends with ladders will get the top section. I also have used it inside the house for window frame painting and high up cleaning. I plan on buying another one to use at a different property.
