Fielect 6.5 Inch Speaker Rubber Edge Surround Rings Replacement Parts for Speaker Repair or DIY 2pcs

I bought this hoping to bring a 23 year old JBL 8 inch subwoofer back to life. It was in a 1999 Eddie Bauer Explorer that I bought. It looked like it hadn’t had a note come out of it in years. Seriously, the rubber surround was completely gone. In the picture you can tell by the color of the paper that it had been forgotten about. I pulled it out and pushed down on the center and no scrubbing sound. So, I ordered this repair rubber and some glue. I found a “how to” video on YouTube and watched it a couple times. After making sure to center it. I glued it on and waited until the next day. Folks, I couldn’t hardly believe it. It sounds good. I put it in a small box I had made for a 6.5 inch subwoofer and connected it to my Pioneer 5.1 surround sound system. I’m using an Aoshike(I think is the spelling) 100 watt subwoofer amplifier board I ordered from here. It absolutely sounds 100% better than the 12 inch Pyle Power subwoofer that’s only 4-5 months old. This old JBL 8 is hitting lower notes and has more punch than the Pyle 12 inch subwoofer. No offense to the Pyle but I’m very impressed. IT WAS EASY TO DO. No problems. I definitely recommend this.

..as long as you know how to properly install the rings..preparation and patience is most important as properly selecting right adhesive…

Excellent product almost identical to the factory foam around the speaker thank God someone told me that you can buy these rings and get them replaced I was just going to throw them away thank God I didn't I was saved a lot of money right there I would have had to buy new speakers but this saved my butt so they worked great on my fishers

Although I have purchased slightly bigger size, I was able to trum the rubber and fit them to my front door speakers.The sound is very great and bass is very great and the sound is very clear too.Judging from the sound, you will never know my work isn't good looking🤣🤣🤣.

Made well but too thin

I had to trim the outer ring but they appear to fit nicely once glued into place I'll update as I try them out after the glue cures

I used one of these and some speaker glue to fix the woofer of one of my old Sony speakers. No more rattle. Saved money from buying new or going to a repair shop.

I just use it to repair my Bose audio system on my Mazda and it is working perfectly save me a lot of money
