You can always tell when an item on Amazon is not made in the USA because the English and grammar in the product description etc is atrocious and a dead giveaway. I will NOT feed any of my animals anything from China. I am really trying to limit buying anything at all from them as much as possible. Come on America, bring manufacturing back to the USA! Create American jobs! Help us not be so reliant on foreign countries…..

What are these meal worms fed on, meat?

Their name tells what their diet is - meal, as in wheat, oats corn, etc. As a former grower of meal worms, I can tell you that meal worms thrive on wheat bran and seem to love a slice of corrugated cardboard now and then. But meal worms DO NOT eat meat. They don't have teeth or a gut that can process meat.

I can barely read the label, looks like it says PRC. Are these from China?

Yes they are from China . The ones I used to buy from Walmart are too. The birds don't seem to mind .

Good fresh product

I buy this to feed to wild birds in the winter and early spring when insects are hard to find, and it's the first food they go for. The packaging is good and most of the meal worms are intact and not broken or crushed to dust, which indicates the product is fresh.

My bluebirds love these as do the other birds that visit my feeders.My one complaint is the packaging…although it looks like it has a resealable bag you or I can NOT open the bag and still use the resealable top portion. Or if there’s a secret to opening the bag, how about let us know how..I will be reordering again.
