YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY YOU TRIED THESE STRINGS. THESE ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST FOR SURE!
WOW! FANTASTIC OVER-THE-TOP EXCELLENT STRINGS. GREAT TONE! GREAT SUSTAIN! VOLUME! I HAVE BEEN USING PRICEY, COATED STRINGS! AND AT THIS GUAGE THEY ARE SO EASY TO PLAY! AND THESE STRINGS ARE SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE THAN PRICEY COATED STRINGS! I HAVE BEEN PLAYING GUITARS FOR OVER 60 YEARS AND HAVE USED DIFFERENT STRINGS BUT THESE ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED BY FAR!

The perfect string
A few years ago I dedicated myself to only acoustic guitar. Since then I’ve tried a variety of strings and I’ve come to the conclusion that the daddario phosphor bronze are simply the most consistent from set to set and for some reason unknown to me seem to have the least problems with intonation on a standard tuned guitar. I have dabbled with both the xt and xs variants as well. For me, there’s are hardly any difference in durability between the standard ej phosphors and the xt’s. The xs does last considerably longer but the feel is much different. I also suspect they have slightly more tension due to the coating but I have not looked at any actual numbers. Im not sure if others have found this to be true, but I cleaned my strings after every practice/play session and for longer periods of practice I will often clean them several times. This significantly increases the string life. They might not retain the brand new zing but the sound is still very pleasing. I will let them go for a full week with several hours a day play time. This is acceptable to me. If I played less they might last longer. All in all a great product. If you need further endorsement, Glaser guitars in Nashville doesn’t used anything else but Daddario. I’d wager Mr. Glaser knows a thing or two.

The Perfect Strings for Me!
It took me a while and a few different sets of strings to find the perfect match for my playing style, but the search was absolutely worth it. These strings provide exactly what I was looking for—an ideal balance of sound quality and comfort.I primarily fingerpick and play on the softer side without a pick, and many other strings I tried were either too stiff, too bright, or lacked the warm, resonant tone I wanted. These light-gauge strings, however, hit the sweet spot. They’re soft enough on the fingers to make long sessions comfortable, yet they still deliver a full, rich tone without losing clarity. The responsiveness is excellent, and they produce a smooth, balanced sound whether I’m playing delicate melodies or intricate fingerpicking patterns. If you’re someone who values a warm, articulate sound and wants a set of strings that feels effortless to play, I highly recommend these. They’ve completely elevated my playing experience, and I’ll be sticking with them from now on!Pros:✔️ Perfect for fingerpicking and softer playing styles✔️ Great balance of comfort and sound quality✔️ Light gauge makes them easy on the fingers✔️ Rich, warm tone with great clarityCons:❌ None so far—just wish I had found them sooner!

New and Clean Beat Expensive Coated
I have always preferred uncoated strings both electric and acoustic. They ring out better. True, they don't last as long and changing strings is a pain. But like good pickups, sound on an electric guitar is about 50% pups, 40% strings, and 10% for all the other components. For acoustics strings can be 80% for a poor guitar and 40% on a really nice guitar. All my opinion, of course. But, new, clean uncoated strings give you better sound.

Exceeded Expectations
These strings have exceeded my expectations. I bought a set and put them on an inexpensive, lightly built guitar that was designed for fingerstyle playing (Bedell OM). I expected them to sound "tinny" and have poor tone. I was wrong on both accounts. I liked them enough to buy another set which I put on an old Taylor rosewood dreadnaught. Again I was surprised by the clarity and tone. I am 72 and starting to get arthritis in my hands so the light tension is what I wanted to try. I play pretty much always play fingerstyle. I like the unwound G string. In my opinion it sounds cleaner and has less finger noise than a wound string. I was worried about the action but found on both guitars that I can keep things the same (3/32" Bass - 2/32" treble @ 12th fret) even in drop D tuning. They do require a lighter touch but you can still dig in pretty good once you get the feel for them. I thank D'Addario for coming up with this set, they will allow me to play longer with less hand pain afterward. I'm parking my Elixer lights for now and have ordered three more sets of these.

Awesome Price. My favorite strings
These strings are my go to strings for my epiphone jumbo acoustic. The strings have a great sound and they last. I do a lot of finger picking and the sound is clear and bright but not to bright. 3 packs for an incredible price. My guitar store charges the same for one pack.
