My fiance gifted me this for a room remodel he just did for me and I was shocked at how much it sounds like the music box from the series. The slow sad melancholic sound is exactly the same. It fits at home with my other Sailor Moon collectibles ❤️

I expected a larger music box than what was received.

I really like it! It’s really special to me to have a sailor moon music box, as It was my first anime I ever watched. Thought, it does have some downsides. First, it says “Sailor Moon Pie” instead of just “Sailor Moon” and of course since the price of making it is pretty cheap, you will have a little bit of weird sound quality that adds a kind of spooky vibe to it. I still really like it though and if your a huge Sailor Moon fan, I highly recommend.

Firstly, there is one note in my music box which is a bit off, so most of my low-ish rating is due to sound quality. But I was pretty surprised to see "Sailor Moon PIE" inscribed on the box lid...? From what I can find online, "Sailor Moon Pie" is a Sailormoon parody where Sailormoon has eaten too many Moon Pies? Maybe there is some licensing being avoided by using this phrase in the inscription. At any rate, this was not an expensive item; it's ok for what it is. But I would love to find a music box with the same song, completely in tune!
