Work as advertised. Good quality
I ended up using USB-A to SATA cables to run my rpis from SSDs, but this extension fits perfectly in the tray, and gives me options if I have to boot out of the SD card without disassembling the whole thing.

Works well
These extension boards don't lock the card in place; it can still be pulled out with a little tug. I'm not sure what use the push-push functionality is supposed to have; without a locking tab it may as well just be a slide-in slide-out card slot. Might be nice if you want to bury this inside a case and have the card edge fit flush with the outside. Meh.However, at least it takes the repetitive stress off the card slots that are soldered onto the boards inside my 3D printer and laptop and minidesktop, so I won't hear a "sproing!" at some random time and find that the card got launched out and the slot will no longer retain a card. Having experienced that before, I would recommend these or something similar for any machine where you're frequently loading/unloading cards.

The best SD card extender out there
This is exactly what I was looking for about 2 years ago for a project. The SD card extender I was using finally came unglued, so I looked for a solution that had screw holes. Behold! Since buying this I have mounted it properly into one of my 3D printers, and it is working perfectly. No data issues, sturdy as can be, and small enough to fit anywhere. The tolerances were great enough around the holes to be able to increase the diameter to 4mm without hurting any traces. Overall this is a really well engineered solution. The only thing that I would change is make the cable longer, or provide a link in the listing to buy longer cables. Mine came out to be about 40mm shorter than what I needed, so I ended up daisy chaining two of these together. If the option for longer cables existed I would have given this 5 stars instead of 4.

Works great with their RaspberryPi enclosures
A great way to get access to the SD card for a RaspberryPi (or similar clone board) when mounted in an enclosure like the "UCTRONICS Upgraded Complete Enclosure for Raspberry Pi Cluster". My only complaint is that I wish they would come bundled with the enclosure kit.

very good build quality, with the card lock and eject spring.
Just looking at the picture will not tell you how good these extender is. I have no issues using it to extend my raspberry Pi 5 microSD card slot in a home-brew project. The microSD card slots on recent models of Pis don't have locking mechanisms like the older models, which I feel more convenient. This extender bring back the convenience for me.

Great for those hard to reach card slots
These work well if you need to relocate a SD card slot to a different location for your project. The cable is sufficient for most applications. Can't beat the price for a pack of 4.

Good part
Work fine. Spring loaded card eject a surprising plus.

SD extender in Marketing Only
First off, this has no controlled impedance traces, no shielding, won't transfer synchronous data to the SD card, nor will it reliably transfer HS data. What a waste of money. Good concept, very poor implementation.
